Spacious farmhouse for family and friends

Welcome to our simple but spacious farmhouse from 1850. The house has been gently renovated without changing its character. Hallau is located in a rural area on the German border between the Black Forest and Lake Constance. There are public transport links, but a car is an advantage. The bus stop, grocery store, bakery and bank are a two-minute walk away. We are child-friendly and non-smoking. You share the garden with my ducks. There's room for all of you. The space A place to arrive, breathe deeply and feel good 🌿🪴🏡 Our simple farmhouse offers plenty of space for families, friends and anyone seeking tranquility and relaxation in its 120 m². It has a dining room, a spacious kitchen, two bedrooms and two bathrooms. Ground floor The entrance area provides ample space for shoes, jackets and strollers. 1st floor Here you will find the cozy dining room with a sofa and reading corner, as well as a spacious, well-equipped kitchen. There is also a bedroom with toys for our little guests on this level. On request, we are happy to provide a travel crib or up to two additional mattresses for larger groups. 2nd floor The master bedroom has a double bed (160 × 200 cm), a single bed (90 × 200 cm) and a crib (70 × 140 cm). Next to it are a large bathroom with a bathtub and a separate bathroom with a shower and toilet. To linger, unwind, and enjoy some peace and quiet with views of the countryside, we have on the 2nd floor in the gallery, we have a small, separate reading corner with two armchairs. Great to know The two living floors are connected by a steep staircase, which may be less suitable for older guests or toddlers. Garden & nature The house has two gardens where you can relax. I keep Indian Runner ducks, and you will be sharing the gardens with the ducks. The house serves us as a weekend and vacation home, as a retreat to relax and recharge, to switch off from everyday life, to leave the city behind, and to spend precious time with family and friends. All of this can also be part of your experience. Other things to note I keep ducks in part of the garden. The ducks are shy and cannot be touched. Please let your children know that the ducks must not be hunted or touched.
