Hiša Pod Gradom (House Under the Castle) is located in the centre of Ljubljana, just a few steps from the old town. Built before 1636 and renovated between 2010 – 2017. Our goal was to combine its charm and rich history with modern concepts and today's way of living. Now our quests can experience living in a historical house without giving up the advantages and comfort of modern life. The space One bedroom duplex apartment is located on the second floor of the house. On the first storey of the apartment there are living space with kitchen and a bathroom and on the second storey, bedroom. It also has a terrace (20m2), facing the castle hill. The apartment offers a carefree stay, as all rooms are equipped with custom made modern furniture and all necessary household appliances. The sofa in the living room can be transformed into a comfortable bed for two persons. Guest access Upon prior reservation (since we have limited space), we can arrange a private parking space in front of the house - it costs 20 € per day. There are also public parking spaces on the street (1,70 €/h from 6:00 (6 am) to 22:00 (10 pm) and then 2 € during the night (so 2 € for the whole night, not 2 € per hour). The nearest bus station is 70 m from the house. The main Ljubljana bus and railway station is 1 km away. The nearest bicycle rental station is 150 meters away. Other things to note Our unique location, which is also accessible by car, is the ideal starting point for exploring Ljubljana and Slovenia. RECEPTION The reception is open every day from 8am till 12pm (noon). The apartment check out is from 8am till 10:30am, check in from 3pm . BREAKFAST You can also reserve a delicious buffet breakfast (9,90 € per person), which is served from 8am-10:30am at our restaurant Hiša Pod Gradom. Our Hiša Pod Gradom restaurant, located on the ground floor, offers a wide variety of dishes, including traditional Slovenian foods.
