This is a suite with its own private entrance. The neighborhood is quiet, and the town quaint and friendly. Cross the bridge, and you enter your private 600 sq ft abode. Luxuriate in the clawfoot tub. Indulge in a local restaurant or enjoy a home cooked meal. Have a sip, sitting on your own private deck and meditate on the view of the woods. Coffee and tea is always available. Fresh fruit is provided for those staying 2 or more nights. Space is cleaned, sheets laundered after each guest. Generous sized Private Suite with its own dining and sitting area. A kitchen is available for your use. The separate bedroom has a queen bed and wardrobe/drawers for clothes. There is a full bath with heated floor, soaking tub, separate shower, and vanity area. Internet is available for surfing or watching movies on your computer. Everything is freshly laundered, and the space cleaned before your arrival. The couch in the living area is a fold down futon. You have your own private entrance. You can park in my driveway. Walk down the road to the bridge, turn left down the stairs and round the corner to your suite. I am at your service. If you want privacy, I can give you that. If you want to socialize, I'm always happy to get together. The town of Tryon has 1500 friendly and hospitable people. When I first moved here one of the shop owners let me take what I had purchased and come back later to pay for it, when I forgot my wallet. You don't find that in too many places. If you want antiques, we've got them. If you want local artisan gifts, food and produce we have that too. When I'm not in the mood to cook, the local Manna Cabanna has great take-away and scrumptious chocolates. Hiking trails abound all around this area within a 10-45 minutes drive. There's even a local Little theater and if you stay long enough you could audition. All are welcome. (URL HIDDEN) Restaurants are plentiful and good. Anywhere from a couple of minutes to 45 minute drive, depending on what you have an appetite for. Some of my favorites: Tryon: Trade St Cafe for breakfast and lunch, Harvest House for lunch and dinner Landrum SC: Hare and Hound Hendersonville: Umi for Sushi Asheville: Chai Pani for Indian and Katmandu for Nepal/Indian In the Summer there are free outdoor concerts at Roger's Park starting the end of May. People bring a picnic and enjoy the music. There are also vendors that sell food. There's an international film festival held in October, and a Beerfest in November. Two local gyms that welcome guests. If you need a yoga mat, ball, or small size weights I have some you can use. The International Equestrian Center is 20 minutes away for those who are horse enthusiasts. The only way to get around here is by car. The center of town is a 5 minute walk from here. The grocery store a ten minute walk. There is wi-fi access. No TV and no local phone service. For guests staying longer there is a laundromat just 5 minutes away. The kitchen has everything you need to cook and eat. There is a coffee maker, kettle, toaster oven and cooktop, but no full oven. Silverware, cooking utensils, plates, cups, glasses, pots and pans. I provide fruit, tea, coffee, cream and sugar for your enjoyment at the beginning of your stay. The bathroom is stocked with towels, toilet paper, shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and toothbrushes (in case you forget yours). The bathroom floor can be heated, but please turn it off before you leave for the day, and turn it off at night. There is heat and air conditioning available via a wall unit.
