Erato Traditional Cave House with Sea view

"Erato Cave House" is a charming cave house that offers a unique traditional accommodation to all those visitors who wish to enjoy and authentic stay at the Cycladic islands. Erato cave house offers a nice decorated living room, an equipped kitchenette with a dining table, a bathroom and two bedrooms with double bed. The house offers as well a stunning panoramic view to the Aegean Sea, and is ideal for sunrise photo shooting! The house can accommodate up to 2-4 guests. The space “Morning Star” is a traditional cluster of four traditional houses overlooking the stunning sea view and morning sunrise located at Exo Gonia village. The houses have a panoramic view, they are semi-detached, built on two levels and their construction began in 1892 and ended in 1893 as shown by the contract and the marble slab with the fountain that were found at the base of the cistern. It bears the initials AR from the owner (Anthony Revelis) and now is placed above the door of the bedroom of the lower house. Anthony Mindrinos nicknamed Revelis, was a captain, traveling at the Black Sea in the 19th century carrying goods to and from Russia. In one of his trips, he brought from Russia a handmade railing that decorates now the terrace of the house, a bed located in the bedroom of the lower house and a gift to his beloved wife, a jar decorated with a heart and an anchor located in showcase dining over the house. Captain Revelis sold the houses in 1925 and he moved in Fira. Erato Cave house is the new 60 sqm two bedroom house of our complex. It has a wide private terrace with panoramic views to the sea and to Kamari village. The house has a main living room with a kitchenette, a dining table, a sofa and a Satelite LCD TV, a bathroom wih shower and bath amenities and two bedrooms with double bed. Erato is located in Exo Gonia village, less than 2 klm drive from Pyrgos traditional settlement and less than 1 klm walking. Kamari beach is located located in 3 klm, the winery of Argyros estate is within 1 klm from our house. Next to the house (within few seconds walk) there are two restaurants. Guest access Guests can access by taxi or rental car. The bus station is within 10 minutes walk. Rental car is recommended and there is free public parking next to the house.
