Both Llafranc and Tamariu offer numerous restaurants and cafés. There is also a restaurant in the small hotel at the San Sebastian lighthouse. On Cala Pedrosa there is a beach bar. The space To be able to relax, rest, eat and sleep in the peaceful surroundings of Can Ralet and yet be within minutes of some of Catalonia's most sought after beaches is quite exceptional. The gardens and extensive lawns are yours to wander in - ideal for frisbee or badminton. If the plum or fig trees are in fruit, do help yourselves. And there's also a vegetable garden from which you can help yourselves according to the season. If music's your thing, there's metres of vinyl, as well as CD's and a TV which tunes in to all the UK terrestial channels. Breakfast, lunch or dinner can be taken on the terrace - in the sun or in the shade. Guest access For easy access, guests have their own parking space(s) with direct access across the the grass to the terrace. There are three levels of lawns all of which are open to guests to wander around, join us for a beer or a glass of wine or just plonk a chair under a tree and read, have a cool drink or even set up a table for lunch. We never close the gates, so if you're out late, no problem. Other things to note This a friendly, simple Spanish rural homestead, once a farm. It's quiet, is comfortable, and offers much, much more than an appartment - not least, the quiet and the greenery! And if you want to sleep peacefully, away from the noise and bustle, Can Ralet is quiet and peaceful. Open fields, a 'self-help' vegetable garden and the scents of eucalyptus and jasmine. Can Ralet consists of two bedrooms (one double bedroom, one twin bedroom), a kitchen diner, a cozy sitting room and a spacious bathroom. French windows lead to the ‘Italian’ garden giving on to extensive lawns and overlooking the house’s vegetable garden. The kitchen/diner gives on to a charming covered floral terrace featuring a large dining table and sitting area. A Norwegian guest said recently that he's coming back next year simply to relax and read. Parking is on the lawn less than 5 yards from the terrace. Both Llafranc and Tamariu offer (in addition to their charming beaches), numerous restaurants, hotels and cafés. There is also a restaurant and bar in the (rather Ritzy) hotel at the San Sebastian lighthouse, as well as a very fashionable Japanese restaurant and a relaxed bar in what used to be the lighthouse-keeper's house. On Cala Pedrosa there is an informal beach bar offering drinks and excellent light meals during the summer months. Oh, and by the way. We've a sturdy bicycle for those who want to 'pop' down to the local shop for a loaf, a croissant or a bottle of wine. From August 26th onwards, when the beaches begin to empty, we've lowered the price by ten per cent. So if you feel like a break, give it a try. You won't be disappointed!
