The space We are offering a freshly painted en suite double bedroom with a small private patio and own street entrance in our centrally located Grade 2 listed Regency house. Our house used to be a theatrical boarding house and the cast of the 1947 film BRIGHTON ROCK, including Richard Attenborough, who played Pinkie, lodged here. Period Living magazine featured our house in their September 2015 issue. During the festival in May we have an awarding winning open house, The DOG SHOW - over 200 pieces of dog art. This takes place on the ground floor so won’t impact on your stay, infact might enhance it. The house is only 12 mins walk from Brighton station, close to all restaurants and nightlife and 2 mins walk from the sea and the i360. Our knowledge of the area is extensive, my husband was born here. Breakfast is included; homemade granola, fruit, yoghurt and toast with homemade marmalade and coffee. Tea making is in your room. If given advance warning we can provide an alternative to milk. We have a two night minimum and we do, reluctantly, charge a £15 cleaning fee, a small amount when spread over a few days. The bedlinen is pure Egyptian cotton, towels and Wi Fi are provided, as well as your own set of keys to your door. Parking is difficult in central Brighton, but we, possibly but not guaranteed, have a free off road space behind our house for your car but no vans. Otherwise I have some visitor permits costing £10 a day. Guest access Our guests have their own front door and en suite bathroom. We provide tea making facilities in the bedroom. During your stay Both Orlando and I work at home, enjoy leisurely breakfasts and are happy to answer any queries during the day.
