The Shearer's Quarters is camping meets homestay - an authentic farm experience in the heart of the Cudgegong Valley. Once a home for the shearers who visited the farm for more than 50 years, The Shearer's Quarters is now a cosy cabin with views of the property. It's a unique experience for those looking for a different kind of country getaway. The shearers quarters provide a birds eye view of farm life, with sheep or cattle being moved past your accommodation. The space The Shearer's quarters has 6 individual bedrooms, a communal kitchen and living area. The bedrooms open up onto a covered outdoor entertaining area. There is an outside toilet and an ensuite in the main bedroom. The Shearer's Quarters are basic. We advise only hardened travellers should stay in winter months. We have heaters in the rooms and extra bedding but it can be very cold. A fully equipped kitchen makes eating-in fun. There is a BBQ, electric oven and microwave with pantry essentials including tea , coffee , oil, sugar , butter, farm eggs, cereal , sauces and locally baked bread. Guest access Guests are welcome to walk in our laneways ( map provided). We ask guests not to enter our farm sheds or shearing shed as they may pose a safety risk. Dams on our property are not for swimming. Other things to note Our accommodation is self catered Electric bikes are not permitted on the property. If you need to charge your electric vehicle during your stay, please contact the host before your arrival. Fire wood will be provided during the winter months. Registration Details Exempt
