This solitary, cosy and private chalet is located in the gardens of the main house on the edge of a peaceful and beautiful valley on the outskirts of rural Amargeti village. From your private & secluded patio area you can view the Troodos mountains & Vouni vineyards to the northeast, across Amargeti Forest and past the wind turbines near Kouklia and then to the sea to the south. It is a 25 minute drive up into the hills from Paphos International Airport. The space If you like to cater for yourself, the chalet is equipped with a 4-burner gas hob (with extractor hood), electric oven, a microwave, dishwasher, large fridge/freezer, filter coffee machine, toaster, electric kettle and a water cooler. We will provide you with a "welcome pack" of basic essentials, tea, coffee, sugar, eggs, bread, butter & other items from time to time as well as some soft drinks and a bottle of local wine or cans of beer. If you have any specific dietary or other requirements, we will try & accommodate them given sufficient notice. Both the bedroom and living areas have split air conditioning (cooling/heating) units. NO ELECTRICITY SURCHARGES will be applied. If you prefer, you can open the windows & have a natural breeze as fly screens are fitted for your comfort. Hot water is provided through a combination of solar & an air to water heat pump giving year-round supply regardless of weather conditions. A 43" 4kHD Smart TV is provided that allows connection to your smart phone for media streaming (up to 25Mb/s) as well as complimentary guest access to our ad-free Netflix account. On the chalet patio there is a 3-seater swing chair, charcoal barbecue & two tables with 4 chairs (2 recliners) that can be lit up at night for relaxing outside. Should you not want to cook there is a lovely taverna less than 200 metres away that serves quality Cypriot food & beverages 7 days a week. The 8m x 4m pool was remodelled in 2018 to include an infinity-style edge for gorgeous views into the valley below & solar heating making for comfortable swimming (water temperature 23-34 degC) usually from mid-March until mid-November. The pool is normally open from 10.00 until 16.00. These hours may vary with weather conditions but for swimming outside of these times, please confirm with us beforehand. Although the pool is open year-round, the water temperature for the remainder of the year is usually too cold except for the most hardened of swimmers. It has a uniform depth of 1.6m. Guests also have access to our terrace garden in the vicinity of the chalet where you are free to pick fruit, chillis & herbs (when in season) for personal use during your stay. We have a washing machine and tumble dryer should guests require laundry services, available from 10.00-16.00. Washing & line drying: €5/load; Washing & tumble drying: €10/load. There is also an iron and board. * shared only between “A View for all Seasons” guests & us (who may have family or friends staying with us). Other things to note 3 towels (hand, bath & pool) are provided for each guest. No towels are to be taken offsite. If you require beach towels, we can rent you a pair for EUR5 (includes subsequent laundering). A towels/clothes airer is also provided & heated towel rail during the cooler months. Dishwasher tablets are provided free of charge (FOC). Toilet waste is accepted on the “3 Ps” principle i.e. poo, pee & paper! Please do not put anything else down the toilet. Instead, please use the bathroom bin provided. The electric sockets are standard UK 3-pin type. One of the double sockets incorporates 2 x 3,100mA, 5V USB sockets for charging of smartphones, etc. We supply a selection of European socket adapters in the drawer to the right of the cooker. Mineral water for the water cooler is also provided FOC. A full bottle is placed next to the cooler & assistance can be provided to exchange with the used bottle upon request (note that a full bottle weighs approx 20kg). We provide charcoal & fire lighter blocks for the barbecue but request you replace whatever you consume. Please leave the bbq in the same state of cleanliness as at the day of your arrival. For safety reasons, no glass items are allowed near the pool on the sun terrace. A selection of plastic & metal drinking vessels are provided. These MUST be used whilst drinking in the vicinity of the pool. Please use the poolside shower before entering the pool. We can accommodate an infant under the age of 12 months (or not yet walking) in the chalet as part of the reservation. Please see the “House Rules - Additional Rules” section for further info. As per AirBnB terms of service, at least one of the Guests staying at the chalet must have made the booking in their name. We cannot accept bookings made on behalf of third parties. Should Guests wish to invite 1 or 2 friends or family members for social purposes, please seek our permission first. Overnight stays are not permitted. We will consider enquiries from guests to bring their pets on a case by case basis. Registration details 0000370
