Our Self catered kitchen is open for a slow morning breakfast. Close to parks & coffee shop. The space WELCOME TO OUR HOME... Colonel De Salis was an English Officer who retired and made his home at Shawnigan Lake. This once was part of a large estate. We cater to people who wish to unplug from the digital rat race. We currently do not supply Wi-Fi or internet or Cable TV. We do have an old VCR for movie night. Our rooms can be self catered with kitchen access or we can make breakfast. This experience is designed to unwind,unplug and find yourself. Wi-Fi is 3/4s of a Km away. We cater to EHS suffers as well. Go for a walk at the Kinsol trestle, or swim at Masons beach, have a coffee or hike one of the local parks or tour a wine grove. The ocean is not to far away either. The city of Duncan is 15 minutes, and the city of Victoria is 45 minutes away.Or 10 minutes to Mill Bay and Cobble-Hill.Boat ramp a few kilometers away for shawnigan Lake access. Guest access Travelers can use the living room on main floor ,kitchen,back porch and garden.Please make you-self at home.And Relax..... Other things to note NO WI-FI,Pet cat,no TV or current internet on purpose. please bring slippers in house,no-smoking or partying.
