Elegant and contemporary design villa, designed by archistar. Hidden among seven maritime pines and dozens of olive trees that surround the house and the swimming pool: it is located near the most beautiful beaches of Salento. It has three double bedrooms each with private bathroom, for a total of 6 beds. It is possible to request 2 additional places in a double room with private bathroom in the pajara, 20 meters away from the main villa with an extra daily fee of 100 € / day The space A complete independent Villa bordered by pergolas with olive trees and seven tall maritime pines which wellcome you at the arrival. Distant 1.5 kilometres from the Mediterranean Sea at the tip of the Salento region. The propriety includes also a hectar of land with a magnificent swimmingpool and a guesthouse which has been inserted into a pajara, an ancient type of dry-stone temporary shelter. The pajara structure features a barrel-vaulted roof and has its own outdoor space. In the Villa there are three bedrooms which surround the living space, which incorporates a dining area and a kitchen at one end, and a lounge featuring a fireplace made from Lecce stone at the other. The fourth bedroom with its own bathroom is in the Pajara dependance. The design, particularly the use of materials, was influenced by traditional Salento architecture, including masserie – the stone-walled houses built between the 16th and 19th centuries that were often fortified against attacks. Large windows which face the external area are designed as a natural continuation of the protected space, paved and designed as a place of relations with crafted sofas and armchairs to underline the constant relationship between outdoor and indoor spaces. The patio spaces are sheltered by pergolas made from timber that is bleached so it becomes extremely pale. The pergolas and the trees provide some shade, while reed canopies can be added to enhance this functionality. Elsewhere on the plot–Stairs located in a sheltered courtyard outside the kitchen lead to a terrace on the property's flat roof. This space functions as a solarium where you can see a unique view of the very near sea. Very close to the Villa there is a private beach, which is never crowded even in August, and with very friendly but exclusive service (send us a message for further information).
