This beautiful 1-bedroom, self-contained annexe is on the edge of Rock, one of the finest holiday spots in the UK. Just one mile away from the beautiful Rock beach, this well-situated property offers everything you need for either a short stay or longer break on the stunning Cornish coast. The space A perfect spot for relaxing locally, or exploring our beautiful county further afield, The Annexe is a semi-detached, one-bedroom property attached to our family home, which we built 30 years ago. A shop, delicatessen, bakery, butcher, doctors’ surgery and fish and chip shop are just a short walk away, and the nearest pub is a mere 100 metres up the road. There is an abundance of beautiful locations and exciting activities nearby to keep you entertained during your stay. You can enjoy a spot of lunch on the Rock beachfront, or take the ferry to Padstow and explore the shops, restaurants and coves it’s famous for. Rock’s prime position on the glorious Camel Estuary makes it a major water-sports hub, so, beginners or experienced adventurers alike can sail, kayak, canoe, windsurf or water ski in the calm confines of the Estuary waters. The famous Sharps Brewery is half a mile away (some days you can even smell the hops brewing!) to stock up on revered Doombar ale, and the gorgeous Polzeath, Port Issac, Daymer Bay beaches are just short drives away, as is the award-winning Camel Valley winery. The Annexe is a space designed to sleep two adults. However, if you are a couple with a very young family you may also find the space adequate for your needs, but please note we cannot provide travel cots so please bring your own as required. The ground floor is an open-plan living space with comfortable lounge (with freeview TV), well-equipped kitchen (including dishwasher, oven, hob, fridge/freezer, kettle and microwave), dining area and utility space with a washing machine and tumble dryer. The stairs lead to a light and spacious double-bedroom (velux-conversion) and newly-installed wet room, with walk-in shower, sink and toilet. The upstairs space consists of a double bed, bedside chair, bedside table and lamp, cosy wingback chair, and ample drawer and wardrobe space. Towels and linen are provided, and tea/coffee/milk/biscuits are also provided for your arrival. Access is by private entrance to the rear of the property and there is a dedicated parking space within our driveway, immediately outside the property. Please note that there is a slight step up into the property when considering access requirements. The Annexe has free wi-fi and is a non-smoking property, either in the building or outside. Unfortunately, we cannot accommodate pets.
