A nicely decorated, light studio apartment with a perfect location in the heart of the beautiful old town of Stockholm. There are two different entrances, of which one of them is from the historic street Österlånggatan, and the other from a typical small old town alley. Within about a 100meters from the royal castle, and also close to the subway. It is also close to both the hipster island of Södermalm and the club and shopping areas of Stureplan. On top of it all, it has an incredible view. The space This studio apartment is about 65 m2. It has three windows and is very light and cozy. It is within a walking distance of only 450 meters from the closest subway station “Gamla Stan”. The building, like most buildings in Gamla Stan, is very old, and therefore there is unfortunately no elevator. But if you have a lot of bags I can of course try my best to help you carry them up the stairs. The apartment itself is very charming. It is very light during the daytime, since it has three windows, plus one skylight window in the bathroom, and in Stockholm during summer the sun sets very late, (but there are of course curtains to use if you want the apartment to be dark at night and when you wake up in the morning). The furnishing in the apartment is kind of simple but with a bit of a retro touch to it, which, according to myself, fits the apartment very nicely. If you are looking to work during your stay, there are two desks in the apartment, both placed by windows, overlooking a great view. There is one queen bed in the apartment, and one extra single foldable bed, that is not in the pictures but will be in the apartment. There is a working kitchen with a stove, oven, running water, microwave, and other basic kitchen items. There is however no dishwasher! There is a lot of storage space for bags and clothes when you enter the door, and if you walk a bit further in you will see the kitchen, which is spacious and easy to move around in, and has a dining table with four seats. On the other side of the hallway you will find the bathroom, where you will have access to a washing machine and dryer. We will provide products such as soap, shampoo and conditioner etc. The living-room/bedroom is very cozy and has a big fireplace that separates the “TV-area” from the “bed-area”. We don’t allow use of the fireplace during the summer, but in the winter it is a very cozy part of the apartment. If you chose to come to our apartment we hope, and will try our best to make sure that you have a very pleasant stay! :) Other things to note We are currently only renting out the apartment for stays that are longer than a month due to rules from the board in the building :)
