It's a long strip of sandy beach that is quite popular in the summer and full of umbrellas and activity. In winter months it is quiet and peaceful. Our apartment is located directly on the beach in the first row. Cafes and restaurants can be found all around the area. Other things to note Getting around Durrës city center is just a 10 minute drive from the retreat, and Tirana is just 30 minutes away, easily accessible by frequent urban buses.
