Centrally located in the Hill Country (Fredericksburg, Wimberley, Marble Falls and more). Lots of dining choices. The 7th Street Guesthouse is a historic jewel in Blanco County. Known by locals as "The Old Speer Home", this charming home is located within walking distance of historic downtown Blanco. Our place is ideal for couples and solo adventurers. The space 7th Street Guesthouse began as a two-room home built in the late 1800's. Over the course of time, to accommodate the lives of its occupants, it evolved into a very enjoyable home. Guest access The house has two sunporches that invite you to sit a spell and read, do handwork, meditate, or have conversation. The large bedrooms, living area, dining room and kitchen are nostalgic of times gone by. Relaxation is in the air. The large outdoor porch is a gathering place for family fun. Other things to note We have a variety of movies and board games for the enjoyment of our guests. Local wifi is available all around the square at restaurants as well as the library in town. The bedrooms and living area of the Guesthouse are made comfortable in the summer with window air conditioners.
