Ngamotu Bach

You’ll love relaxing at our place with its kiwiana bach style and the beautiful setting - we're on a semi-rural section in the city! Our place is 2 min drive to great surf and family-friendly beaches, play grounds and parks, and the CBD is 10 min drive away. Bus stop is 50 metres from driveway. We welcome all people. We had tenants from 2018-2020 while we had our baby, and have just repainted the inside and replaced the carpet (sad to see the old retro carpet go). The space Ngamotu Bach is down a long driveway and is very private from the street. The section borders onto Hongihongi Stream and there are lots of native bird life and trees in our sanctuary. There is 1 bedroom with a double bed, and a spacious lounge with 2 foldout couch-beds. We also have a spare single foldout bed and mattress available for extra guests. As there are lots of festivals over the summer period, we are also happy for extra people to stay in tents or mattresses inside, and this can be arranged prior to arrival at $20/person/per night. Guest access The whole bach is for you to enjoy. The separate laundry room and extra outside toilet is next to the bach. We provide washing powder and all linen. Beach towels are also available for your use. There is a great lawn space for chilling out and playing games on. The BBQ is also available for your use. There is a conservatory space where shoes and jackets can also be kept. Other things to note Please be aware that it is a shared long driveway with our tenants who live in the brick house opposite, and only wide enough for one car at a time, therefore guests may have to reverse up the hill if other cars arrive at the same time. You are welcome to turn around up at their house. Please be water and energy conscious by ensuring taps and lights/appliances are switched off when not in use. We have a compost bin for guests to use and recycling facilities to minimize waste going to the local landfill. Please use these. Please also wash off sandy feet with the outside tap or hose before going inside. Thank you!
