The house is a stylish, cosy and spacious terrace with two bedrooms that can sleep five guests. You will find all the creature comforts for a memorable and relaxing stay. Located within the heart of Norwich suburbs the city is a short walk to access nearby parks, shops, restaurants, pubs, art and culture. The house has all that's needed to feel at home quickly along with two bathrooms, a large dining room, a well equiped kitchen and two open fires for a cold winters night. The space The house is an end terrace situated on the corner of Northumberland Street and Church Close. The living room has two large sofas with a fire place that guests can use as long as the ash is removed prior to your departure. The room is light, simply decorated with some pictures on the wall, books on shelves and lots of plants. Here you will find a TV to use. The dining room has a large dining table with five chairs. There is another open fire place that can also be used as long as the ash is removed prior to your departure. The room is decorated with books, pictures and plants. It’s a perfect space for a family meal or a space to work. The kitchen is next to the dining room and has all you need to cook meals, if you wish. There is a large range oven, fridge, kettle, coffee machine and toaster too. All the crockery, cutlery, pots, pans and dishes you may need to make a feast. You will also find some herbs and spices which you are welcomed to use. The kitchen also provides all cleaning products, tea towels, clothes and other items to help keep the space tidy. A food caddy is provided with the lining bags for food waste too. A space to store recycling is provided and guests are encouraged to be mindful about their waste and seperate all food, recycling and landfill accordingly. Down stairs there is a bathroom that has a bath, a shower, a toilet and a sink. It is simple, clean and tidy and newly updated. Here you will again find some plants too. There is a small utility room with a washer-dryer and a freezer for a small amount of frozen food and ice. This room leads to the back garden which you are welcome to use but it is awaiting an upgrade. The master bedroom is upstair to the left hand-side with a kingsize bed, bedside table and a chest of draws and a rail for clothes. There are pictures on the wall with some plants for a spacious and light feel. The ensuite bathroom has been newly updated with a shower, toilet and draws to store personal items. You will find shampoo, conditioner, body wash and toilet paper for your use during your stay. All products are carefully selected so they are natural and environmentally friendly. There are plenty of house plants to add character to the space too. Guests should be aware that the stairs are steep making the property unsuitable for people with restricted mobility. If you have small children, there is a stair gate which can be used at the top for safety. In the second bedroom you will find a double bed with a single trundle that pulls out. There is a bedside table, chest of draws for clothes and a built in wardrobe to hang clothes. You will also find a travel cot, mattress and bedding for the trundle inside the built in wardrobe. There is also a full length mirror too. There is a small desk for those who wish to find a space to work peacefully. Upstairs has recently been carpeted so all guests are politely asked to not wear shoes or take any food. Please only take clear drinks into the bedrooms. There is free parking directly outside the house on the Close but please be aware it's not off street however the road is very quiet. Guest access The aim is for guests to feel at home and comfortable straight away. The kitchen is equipped with plenty of herbs and spices which all guests are invited to use. There is a fridge and freezer in the utility room to store any food purchased. And a small amount of ice is provided. The downstairs bathroom will supply all basic washing essentials for hair, body and teeth. And some towels can be used during your stay. Downstairs, under the stair has a few personal items stored neatly away but guests are asked to also leave them be. There will be draws to store clothes and a space to hang clothes in both bedrooms. The kingsize bed in the main bedroom is an Ottoman so has storage space below. Guests are asked to not go under the Ottoman bed as it’s for change overs only. You are welcome to bring a small dog to stay with you but please bring bedding to make your pets stay comfortable. Please do not let your pet upstairs into the bedrooms. There is a garden for your use too but it is awaiting an upgrade. There is a shed at the end of the garden which guests are asked not to enter. Parking in on street and free. You should be able to park in close proximity to the house. When checking out the key should be returned to the safe once the door is locked. Check out is by 11am and a text to say you have left is welcomed. Other things to note Great pubs to visit in the area are: The Alex on Gladstone Street The Fat Cat on Nelson Street The Temple Bar especially on a Sunday for a roast between (PHONE NUMBER HIDDEN). This is located on Unthank Rd. Tesco is a 0.4 miles from the house. Lidl is 0.4 miles from the house. The Coop is a fifteen minute walk. Asda is a 10 minute drive. It is 24hours apart from Saturday nights. Good Norwich restaurants include: Cisco's - Sushi and Asian cuisine Wolf and Social - English Tapas Giggly Squid - Thai Blue Joanna - Asian infused tapas Jive - Mexican Wagamama- Asian Various take away restaurants are near by especially, a good Indian, Chinese, Vietnamese and a Thai Takeaway can be found on Dereham Rd.
