A unique lodging and agricultural experience in the located in the Flint Hills. Enjoy 100 acres of farm life by viewing the cows and our ranch operations, feed the horses, hike the hills, fish in the pond and enjoy the wildlife year round. The Konza Cabin was featured on the FYI Network series, "You Can't Turn That Into A House", 2 grain bins were made into a unique space, with glass walls connecting the grain bins - feeling one with nature. NOTE: No TV. No WiFi. The space Designed and built by our son-in-law, this cabin is constructed from reclaimed grain bins connected with an all glass atrium. The property features a full kitchen with a refrigerator, cooktop, microwave and toaster oven. A spring fed well provides running water to the full bathroom and kitchen area. Enjoy the outdoor fire pit and propane grill. Though we are only 7 miles from town, we provide staple items such as coffee pods, s’mores fixings, OJ, and various snacks. The kitchen is complete with cookware, dishes, table clothes, cutlery and glassware. Enjoy the provided cards/games and the sounds of nature. Guest access The property is located on 100 acres and is shared with our operating ranch and personal home. Guests are welcome to hike all around our property, may be up close and personal with our livestock and horses, have access to the pond for fishing (Catch and Release only) . Tours of the property are available upon request. Other things to note This is a RURAL living experience. No TV. No WiFi. It is not the Hilton. It is clean and filled with basic supplies.
