You know what they say about LOCATION? Well, our home is in the PERFECT location! Ten minutes off the New York Thruway, at the edge of Catskill State Park, there is something for everyone. We are in a beautiful wooded setting with mountain views, right between Woodstock and Saugerties, the most charming towns in the Catskills. There are stunning waterfalls with swimming holes right on the property! Start your day on your private deck on the stream or screened porch, and listen to the water rushing over the falls. It’s like the Calm App, but real!! If you love mountain biking or road biking, there are hundreds of miles of quiet scenic roads to explore right out the front door. We are minutes from the most beautiful hiking trails in the Northeast, many with breathtaking views, such as Huckleberry Point and the Escarpment Trail. If you like to cook, within a 10 minute drive, there are farmers' markets and local butchers, as well as a supermarket. If you prefer dining out, there are many fantastic restaurants. Then, check out Bearsville Theater, Levon Helm’s Barn or the Colony for world class music performances. Original woodwork throughout the house and a retro (but fully functional) kitchen gives a cozy country feel, while the strong & reliable WiFi and flat screen tv w/ Roku gives you the ability to work and feel connected. The two airy spacious bedrooms each have a queen bed and one has a twin bed as well. The two and a quarter bathrooms have been updated and are stocked with all the basics.
