The Hidden Oasis

Nestled on a quiet corner in northeast Maryland Heights, The Hidden Oasis is in one of the most central parts of all STL County. Being only 10 minutes from the airport, 5 minutes from Westport, 10 minutes to Ameristar/Hollywood Casinos & the Hollywood Amphitheater, plus a little over 20 minutes to Busch Stadium & downtown, it's a superb location to easily get anywhere in STL! Safe neighborhood. Large fenced in backyard for privacy & pets. Driveway parking. WiFi. Fully loaded house! The space This house has been almost completely remodeled with entertaining guests in mind. The finished basement has a new full bathroom, bar (unstocked obviously) and a kitchenette with ice maker, sink, microwave and toaster. There is a movie area with a projector, 9ft screen and surround sound. And for those into more sporty things, the basement is equipped with bumper pool, darts and a GoldenTee arcade game! The new study (added to the house in 2017) has a powered recliner loveseat so you can enjoy a movie on a 4k flatscreen tv with surround sound. The lights are dimmable so you can raise the lights to work or lower them to watch a movie. There is also a desktop computer set up with guest access in case you need to use a computer. The outside: flat yard surrounded by a 6ft tall privacy fence, perfect for your pets (there is a small daily fee for pets, fyi).... horseshoe pits, a patio table with chairs for 6, pub table with umbrella and chairs for 4, and a couch that will easily seat 7 people. Driveway parking, plus free street parking if you need it. The driveway has solar lamps on both sides so you can see your way up at night. In the closet of the third bedroom (the Library Room) are 75+ board games in case your family wants to stay in and have a little fun! There are TV's (with free antenna tv, Blu-ray players, and a fire stick/Roku set up on the 3 main tvs) in every room except for the Library Room. Master bedroom has a 1/2 bath attached to it for privacy, as well as a new sliding door that opens onto the back patio, and has it's own panel for the security system, so you won't need to go to the kitchen to disarm it if you wanna go outside real quick at night. Full access to the kitchen, stove, fridge, etc....no need to spend lots of money eating out, when you can cook! (However, I can easily give you recommendations to places to eat out at if you'd like!) Coupons to local eateries and fast food joints are on the side of the fridge too. This is my personal house, I just travel a lot for work and rent it out when I'm out of town...so please take great care of it while I'm gone! :) Guest access You'll have access to the entire house, minus two closets, the unfinished part of the basement and the garage. All other areas, inside and out, are yours to enjoy. Other things to note The house has two driveways. Please use the driveway in back, by the garage. When I'm in town, my truck or a gray car is usually parked in the front driveway. I keep the front gate locked, so the only way to access the backyard is through the back gate by the garage. PLEASE NOTE: If you are bringing a pet(s) with you, there is a small pet fee of $20/day per pet (discounts for multiple pets). Payment for this will happen just before your reservation begins and will be handled through the site. There is not any size or weight restrictions, but all pets must be house-trained and kept in a crate while you're gone. No pets are allowed on the furniture or beds, and if there is an accident inside, please clean it up immediately (cleaning supplies are next to the dishwasher) and notify me before checking out. Lastly, please pick up any "yard bombs" your pet leaves outside and throw away in the outside trash bin.
