Description

This Flat by the Castle is in an old Grade 2 listed building alongside the Castle walls of the beautiful town of Conwy. We are ideally located for easy access the Snowdonia National Park, ideal for climbers, walkers, hikers, and those who love the outdoors, & various adventure activities are all within an easy drive. We have private parking, & nearby access to public transport, beaches, town centres, quayside, traditional pubs, and restaurants, make it a perfect destination for your holiday. The space This Top Floor Flat is well furnished and has stunning elevated views over the town and castle. NB. It has a very steep stairwell to access, so not suitable for everyone, or people with mobility issues. It sleeps up to 5 people, with: a kingsize bedded main room a twin bedded room; a living room (with either a double or single put me up, please let us know in advance if you require this making up); a kitchenette (not full kitchen) and dining area; and a bathroom with a shower (no bath). There are oil radiators in the rooms, and an electric fan fire in the living room space. These can all be used and adjusted to keep the place warm and cosy. Please note that the kitchenette is limited but has an undercounter fridge with small freezer compartment, toaster, kettle, 2 ring induction cooker, mini oven, microwave, sink, pots, pans, cutlery and crockery, as well as some other utilities. Guest access Please note: This top floor flat has a very steep and narrow stairwell for access and so it's not suitable for everyone, or people with mobility issues. Access to the building is via a shared entrance on the ground floor, and the flat is up two sets of stairs once in the building. Our gardens have seating and tables and are situated to the side, front, and rear of the building. They are kept to a reasonable standard and used for maintenance purposes and alike. They are not posh, but you are welcome to make use of the garden spaces at your leisure, and when the weather allows. We occasionally host evening events with our wood-fired pizza oven, which guests are welcome to join and be a part of when they occur. Other things to note The house was built in the 1800's and is a Grade 2 listed building, so is subject to very strict planning regulations designed to maintain it's visual appearance and some of it's endearing features, such as sash windows etc. Please bare this in mind when booking, it is an old building but we endeavour to make our spaces warm, comfortable, versatile, and accessible as possible. We have ample private parking at the front of the building, however, if you are bringing multiple vehicles then please do let us know prior to your arrival so that we can ensure that the spaces are made available for your stay. Early check ins can be possible, and at the very least, guests are welcome to park up in our car park, or arrange to drop bags off, and we’ll let you know as soon as the flat is ready.
