Get a dream night's rest in our Private King Bedroom and Bath with keyless front door entry. Relax after a day of excursions; or view the sunset of Lake Minnehaha from the dock, the jetted hot tub, or comfy chairs on the back porch. Minutes from the trails and lakes of Lake County and the National Training Center; close to the many attractions of Orlando, Tampa and St. Petersburg; and a few hours from the beaches of the Gulf and Atlantic. Welcome home! The space Please request access before your arrival if you want access to the owner's spaces. Everything listed below is not available to guests unless permission is granted by the owners. The large great room has a durable dining table and comfortable leather couches. The large screen TV has a DVD player and access to our personal Netflix account. The fully equipped kitchen has a second dining table and bar stools around the large granite counter, perfect for charging phones or using your laptop. In addition to a stove, three ovens, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator, we have many small appliances as well including a toaster, coffee maker, blender and can opener. We plan to expand the space to include another bedroom if there is interest. If you are interested in additional bedroom access, please let us know. (Access is based on prior approval and number of registered guests.) A pack-n-play and blow up toddler bed are also available for use upon request. There is one bathroom available for your stay that has two sinks and a shower. If you will need a tub, special accommodation can be requested to use our second bathroom. Our home is minutes to the Clermont Triathlon area, National Training Center, the 20+ mile West Orange Bike Trail, Lakeridge Winery, plenty of golf courses to choose from, downtown Clermont and many antique shops and flea markets. Also within 50 minutes to Disney World, Disney Village, Sea World, Aquatica, Islands of Adventure, Universal Studios, Lego Land, Renninger’s Flea Market and Antique Center (Mt Dora), International Drive and many family-friendly activities. West or East Coast to Beach is only 1 1/2 hours either direction. Our home is located in Clermont, Florida, United States. It takes 36-54 minutes to drive to Orlando International Airport, depending on traffic. Guest access One story home with private access to the king bedroom and private bath. Your bedroom has a king size bed with attached full bath that includes two sinks, shower, toilet and linen closet with amenities. Access to other areas of the home is by request and owner permission only. No access permitted at any time for the use of the owners' bedroom, bathroom, closet, and 2 offices. (We work from home so quiet time is from 10 pm to 7 am.) Porch has beautiful views of Lake Minnehaha from the comfort of chairs with ottomans or the hot tub. The dock or boat house can moor a boat that can be launched at the public Lake Minneola access. Four kayaks and life jackets can be rented for an additional fee. If granted, shared access with owners also includes fully equipped kitchen, dining room, living room, and laundry room with complementary detergent We know a lot of people love our area for its outdoor activities so indoor storage is available upon request for bicycles and other recreational items. The King bedroom has its own private bathroom with a king bed, large closet, dresser, and end tables. A desk and chair can be provided upon request. Bathroom has pocket door so that sinks can be used at the same time as shower. Guests, upon request prior to stay, are offered complimentary coffee, tea and water throughout the stay. During your stay You will receive your very own code to the front door. Someone can be available to help you get settled and answer any questions you might have. We enjoy meeting new people and will let our guest set the level of interaction. We work from home but try to take advantage of Florida's sunny days outdoors. Other things to note There is absolutely no smoking or pets allowed anywhere on the property. No parties allowed; however, small gatherings may be permissible with prior permission, signed contract and additional fees. Violating the house rules is cause for eviction without refund. Having more people stay than reserved will be cause for immediate eviction without refund. No guests other than those listed in the Reservation Details are permitted to stay overnight in the home. No exceptions. We have to maintain a strict policy when it comes to pets in our home because our family is very allergic to cats and dogs, and despite cleaning, dander gets into the air, and it’s nearly impossible to remove. We can’t make exceptions, so thank you for not asking if pets can stay in our home. No smoking anywhere on the property; this includes the house, the porch, the hot tub, the dock, the boat house, and the yard. No parking in the yard. We have a septic system and a sprinkler system that can be damaged. Once you book, you will have access to the detailed list of House Rules. Please read them over carefully. This list offers guidance and rules to maintain the house as a "Beautiful Lakefront Home". The neighbors are very nice and live there year round. As a courtesy, we tell our neighbors the number of guests and dates of each of our reservations. It is a quiet road. Please be respectful.
