Private apartment with en suite and conservatory.

At Gratton Farm, we offer a self contained accessible studio apartment, lovingly referred to as "The Snug". Bread, butter, jams, cereals, milk, tea and coffee are provided. Rooms, paths and car park are on one level. “The Snug” is a comfortable spacious bed sitting room with the warmth and charm of an old cottage. We do not provide cooked breakfasts, nursing care or disability aids. The space The "Snug" is a spacious bed-sitting room. It has two very comfortable adjustable single electric beds, two arm chairs, wardrobe, television and private conservatory that has views over the garden. Although mostly frequented by able bodied people we warmly welcome those with reduced mobility. The en-suite bathroom has a 1240 mm right hand access walk-in bath (see photographs) with an electric overhead shower. Grab rails are situated around the WC, bath, and sink. There is manual wheelchair access within "The Snug". The ample parking has level access to ‘The Snug’ and parking for an electric wheelchair close by. The Snug is perfect for anyone looking for a stay in the Devon countryside. Guest access "The Snug" is self contained with a private entrance. The conservatory is part of "The Snug" and is used for meals and to sit in and enjoy the views. During your stay "The Snug" is part of the main house and so you will not be isolated or unable to make contact with your hosts. However the snug is a private space. Other things to note Please note we have a well behaved cat called Rusty. He is not allowed in "The Snug". We are in the middle of a farming community and there are often cows or sheep in the surrounding fields. Sometimes you can hear tractors or haylage gathering in the surrounding fields. It is not unusual to see cows or sheep being moved along our lanes. Please drive with care and give the farmer priority, thank you. We do not have pavements or street lights.
