While Accra is hot and noisy, our place is cool and peaceful. We are after all on a hill, with the ocean, a salt farm and even a lake visible from the house. Because we are high up, the air is cool and fresh. Not only will you enjoy the cool breezes, so do the birds wheeling in the air ahead. This is a place for people who want a comfortable home with access to the city, but also want peace, and perhaps to escape to untouched beaches and wetlands. You have use of a large sitting/TV room, a veranda with seats overlooking the ocean, and a fully fitted kitchen/diner. You can cook to your heart's content . or we can cook for you. The neighbourhood is a quiet residential area. There is very little traffic, the hilly location guarantees that. Our provision shop, supplying most everyday needs, is on the premises. Guest access The house is within a sizeable compound.. You have use of a large sitting/TV room, a veranda with seats overlooking the ocean, and a fully fitted kitchen/diner. You can cook to your heart's content . or we can cook for you. If you would like a private fridge in your room, which you could use if you did not want to store certain things in the shared fridge in the kitchen, we can rent you an extra one, at ¢20/day, or ¢100/week. Just let us know any time. During your stay We, the hosts, live upstairs. We are always willing to assist you, perhaps cook for you if you want, babysit for you.. and of course make friends with you. Our children will love to meet you.. if you want. And of course, if you want your privacy, you have it. Other things to note The last 200 metres of access are on an unsurfaced road. Taxis and other vehicles can drive on it easily, but slowly. That is one thing that makes the neighborhood so peaceful! We welcome long-term guests and give sizeable discounts in return. We can accommodate pets if needed. We offer the use of a private fridge if you want an alternative to the shared one. The cost is ¢50/week, ¢120/month.
