Description
A Million Dollar View! To get a view like this you’d have a terrible drive to get to it but the cabin is very convenient to the highway with only a mildly steep but short driveway. The Cabin was made from lumber cut off the land it sits on. Reclaimed Wood floors, reclaimed brick fireplace, rock chimney, wood focus walls and wainscoting throughout the cabin to separate this cabin from all the others. I got a big deck. It’s not the biggest deck ever but everyone loves this deck. You’ll see! The space Three years in the making, the cabin is complete. The yard is simple because I hate cutting grass. I cut the timber, my stepdad milled the wood and I built this cabin with help from a few tradesman but mainly by myself. Much of the wood inside and out came right off this land. I made the log benches by the fire pit from wood off the land. Two bedrooms with private luxury style baths. I try to buy good TP when available, so we don’t get sore booties! Private balcony off the Master Bedroom with table and chairs. Private guest room and private luxury bath. Luxury kitchen with Crushed Ice Maker. French Pressed Coffee pot and Electric Water Kettle, Antique Desk, Wifi, Home Bluetooth sound system: indoor and outdoor speakers in LR, Master BR and Deck, Big screen TV/ DVD player, Wood fireplace, Music themed LR hung with personal and family instruments for viewing pleasure. Did I mention the deck? Its Big! I also hand made the outdoor table and the indoor island, and another gentleman handmade the rocking chairs. I have a new gas grill. Also, the view is just amazing. No pets. I can’t have any animals in my home due to allergies, so please understand. If you email me and ask, I’ll still say no. I also don’t allow small children for the stairs and outside steep banks. Gotta keep them kiddos safe. Guest access The whole home minus: -owner closet in the master -partial usage of the guest closet. -private drawers in the master bath as well as the desk in the LR -no barn access Other things to note The road to the cabin is four lanes and 1/2 mile of two lane paved road to the driveway. The driveway is about 100 yards long and gravel. I keep it scraped as needed with my tractor. As a local, good views come with either 30 minute curvy roads in the boonies or steep roads at some point. Mine is a mile from the four lane, 5 minutes to town, 15 minutes in either direction there are tons of stuff, private, and has a sick view! I have a short steep ish driveway. Go up it once and you’ll be all good if you follow directions. Driveway Instructions for flatlanders: Turn your traction control off!!! You want to spin a little bit on gravel roads!!! The bottom of the driveway is wide, so turn off the asphalt and back up so you have a running start going up the drive. Put any car or truck in low gear and hit the gas. Don’t creep up. You may spin a bit but keep going. I’ve seen mini coopers and huge dump trucks up here so please don’t worry. You’ll do it once and get that it’s not that worrisome. PS: Traction Control Off!
