A farmhouse spread over appx. 40,000 sq. ft. with a small yet self sufficient and spacious house , which is furnished to accommodate 8 people at the most. It has a 12 ft. deep pond with a sit out by it's side. Monsoon (mid-June to end September) is pleasant, but sometimes the property gets inundated. Hence, please check before directly booking during this period. The space Very close to Kolkata but far from the crowd and hustle bustle of the city. Absolutely serene stay with full privacy. Ideal for honeymooners. Seasonal vegetables and fruits can be picked and consumed from the farm itself. There is one King size bed and two extra mattresses available for guests to sleep. Guests who wish to cook their own meal, need to pay extra for using LPG, other gadgets, cleaning utensils etc. The caretaker is not a cook but his services can be used to help in cooking for a fee charged by him. Cooking or consumption of Beef and Pork not allowed. Barbeque stand available. Guests need to inform well in advance and pay fees additionally for charcoal etc. Bon fire can be arranged for an extra cost, provided request is made well in advance. Guest access Swimming and amateur fishing allowed in the pond. Guests can avail of the kitchen including gadgets and the utensils under condition that they will be spotlessly cleaned after use. Caretaker's services can be availed of for helping in cooking and cleaning of utensils at a fee which can be agreed upon with him. Other things to note A 24/7 caretaker to help guests with the cooking and cleaning of utensils and gadgets for a fee agreed upon with him. There are three air conditioners. One in the bedroom and two in the hall. ONLY ONE AC will be put on at any given point of time. Please DO NOT insist to put on more than one AC at a time. It can cause electrical hazard.
