Most of our guests are long-term and come to work, to study, or just to rest. There are five guest rooms in this newly re-modeled home. Your room is nearly big enough to be called an apartment, and you will have a key to your room, assuring your privacy. Our conveniently situated home is on a quiet street, an easy walk to several restaurants, to Aldi, and to Tom Thumb, and just 11 miles south of downtown Dallas. The neighborhood is quiet and peaceful. Our property is shaded by beautiful large trees and the chain-link fence around our backyard is shrouded by wisteria and climbing roses. Since ours is a corner lot, there is plenty of parking in front and on the side of the house. Also, there are two covered parking spots in the carport in back of the house for just $25 extra per month. Check with me to see if one of the spaces is available. My husband and I have moved into a house about a mile from this one, so I will be popping by to greet my guests, to make sure everything is going well, or to get a room ready for a new guest. When we moved here in 2014 we were welcomed by neighbors who brought us banana bread and who introduced us to the history of the place. We were surprised and pleased by this show of old-time friendliness. Unless you are content to walk a block or two to the nearby shops, Uber or Lyft might be the best way to explore further out since the closest bus stop is .9 miles away. Of course, hiking to the bus stop could be part of an exercise routine, but it's a good mile away! We have Blink motion-activated cameras at the front and back doors for the security of our guests.
