Georgian house featured in English Home magazine

A beautiful grade II listed Georgian house which has featured in English Home magazine, in the centre of Hinton Charterhouse. This village is only 3 miles outside Bath, with free parking and a bus on the door step that takes you to the heart of Bath in 15 minutes. We are also very near to Frome and Bradford on Avon, as well as lots of pretty villages in the immediate area. This is a fantastic location if you want to experience the city of Bath, as well as the beautiful Somerset countryside. The space Situated on a pretty village road in the centre of the village of Hinton Charterhouse, you will find this beautiful old Georgian house, our family home. It is a large house with 2 double bedrooms with en suites, and 2 children's bedrooms spread over 3 floors. In the main house on the ground floor there are 2 sitting rooms, one with an open fire and one with a wood burner. These rooms have old wooden beams and original fireplaces. There is also a study/play room, a WC and a kitchen at the back of the house. On the first floor there is the master bedroom with ensuite bathroom, and views across the pretty gardens at the back of the house. There is also another double bedroom with ensuite at the other end of the corridor. Both of these bedrooms have a king size bed. Additionally on this floor there is a very pretty family bathroom with a free standing bath and shower, and a child’s bedroom which has a single bed. Upstairs from here is the attic which has recently been converted to provide another child's bedroom with a king size bed. The kitchen has been very recently renovated, with a brand new Devol kitchen, Lacanche oven and marble worktops. There is a newly added glass extension with doors opening fully onto the patio. Off the kitchen there is a utility with a washing machine. The dining table seats 8. On the patio there is a large L shaped rattan sofa with comfy cushions. We also have 2 steamer/lounger chairs, as well as a ping pong table and mini gym in the garage. Guest access Parking is on the road outside the house and is free. There are also buses that go directly to Bath and Frome from outside the house. Other things to note We own 2 cats but they will be in a cattery when you stay.
