Description
A chic cabin tucked away in one of the most secret and unspoilt corners of the New Forest National Park, only a stroll from the sea, with forest walks on its doorstep and one of the best local pubs in the area. A light continental breakfast is included. Close by is the Georgian sailing town of Lymington with its marinas, cobbled streets and restaurants (7 mins by car), Lymington Pier Station and I.O.W. Ferry (5-mins), and Beaulieu (12-mins). The space Inside the studio-style cabin we've focussed on creating a sense of shabby chic glamour, ensuring comfort and those little extras that make it a home away from home. The comfortable master bed has 100 per cent cotton bedlinen, cushions and a British made luxury fake fur throw. Fluffy towels can be found in the large shower room with soap and shampoo dispensers. There is a speaker for plugging your phone in and playing spotify etc in the sitting room and a wall mounted TV with dvd player in the bedroom area. For quiet moments we have plenty of books to read and shelves of dvds to watch and, for rainy days, games in the bottom drawer of the dresser. The Pig Shed has underfloor heating throughout with an additional heated towel rail in the shower room. From the main seating area double doors open onto a small terrace where you can sit and watch the sun go down over the field and forest beyond with a glass of something chilled in your hand. There is also a barbecue on the terrace and we will provide you with a complementary first bag of coals. Back indoors, in the kitchenette area, there is a small fridge, a microwave, a toaster with croissant warmer, a kettle and a Nespresso coffee machine. We also provide a hotplate, should you wish to cook something light. A continental-style breakfast will be provided for you in the kitchenette and fridge so you don't have to ever be disturbed. As well as a selection of teas, we also provide complementary pods for the Nespresso machine. Guest access THE PIG SHED is tucked away in a corner of our garden, accessed through a five bar field gate from a private parking area (there is plenty of parking including room for a small boat or trailer). From here you step across paving stones to a private walkway, which leads to the cabin. When it's dark, sensors will light up the path. Where possible, we love to welcome guests but there is also a key safe on the outside of the cabin and we will give you a code for your stay. Other things to note Please note that we can't take any third party bookings - ie friends/relatives who do not have their own Airbnb account - as we do not have insurance for this.
