Palm Beach Gold Coast Getaway Flat

Our flat is downstairs and totally independent from the main house, with its own entry through the carport. It has 1 large queen sized bedroom with ensuite bathroom, with a single bed in the combined lounge dining room. Converted from a double garage, the living area is 6x6 metres, with a large corner leather lounge and flat screen TV, 4 chair dining suite, and fully equipped kitchen. Reverse cycle air conditioning in the bedroom ensures comfortable sleeping year round. The space The flat is downstairs from the host’s main house. It opens onto a double carport. Other cars are usually parked in there but if you’re driving a car on your holiday, just ask if there is a space available while you are here. There is always free parking on the street, right outside. There is a large backyard, and a pool which can accessed from the rear of the main house. You need to walk around the back of the house to reach the pool. You may see our two cats around the back yard but they don’t come into the flat. Guest access The flat itself, the back yard, the pool (which is shared with the host family), the downstairs deck, which has an outdoor table and chairs. The laundry is accessible on the rear and shared with other occupants. There are 2 washing machines and one dryer, as well as under cover clothesline. Just ask if you’re unsure. Other things to note The bathroom is accessed through the bedroom. Guests sharing, i.e. sleeping out in the lounge room, should note that you have to access the bathroom though someone’s bedroom. The house above has floorboards, so you will hear people moving about upstairs. You will probably hear when one of the cars enters or leaves the carport. This can be early on a week day. The Pacific Motorway (M1) is about 50m behind the flat. You may hear traffic noise.
