Swallows Rest is a recently converted traditional stone and slate barn that has been sympathetically restored into a comfortable, homely and peaceful retreat for couples or a small family alike. There is a private use hot tub where you can sit and take in the views or watch the stars! Accommodation: Two Bedrooms: 1 x Double Bedroom with a double bed and 1 x Twin Room with 2 single beds. The bathroom has a shower, basin and WC. The space Step into a modern kitchen with all the modern facilities, including a dishwasher and washer/dryer. The kitchen is light and spacious with a large centrally located dining table and chairs, so it’s ideal for chatting and catching up with your nearest and dearest. From the kitchen, you’ll have plenty of space in the open plan lounge to relax in comfort, watch your favourite TV programme, binge on a boxset via the Smart TV or just chill with a good book or listening to some music. Our mainly glass conservatory boasts unrivalled views across the valley and countryside so you can watch red kites, foxes or other wildlife and if the weather is good, experience some of the most amazing sunsets we get. Upstairs, there is a double and twin bedroom, both with exposed beams. Beautifully decorated in muted, relaxing tones they have high ceilings, giving you lots of space and light.. Outside, relax in the hot tub, located in a secluded spot on the terraced patio or make the most of the weather by dining al-fresco. Out and About Where do we start! There are loads of things to do within easy reach - from visiting the local market towns, dolphin spotting, eating fish and chips on the harbour wall, go mining for gold or silver, or stepping back in time to visit the wealth of castles and manor houses we have in the area. You can even feed giraffes and penguins! For those looking for a more active time during your stay, we are 8 miles away from the famous Brechfa Forest mountain bike trails. You can also walk along the coastal path, or how about walking up Pen-y-Fan in the Brecon Beacons? We have some fantastic walks around us, with amazing views!
