Charmingapartment The space 15 minutes away from Centraal Station stands this beautiful nineteenth-century dike house, where you will find this apartment that covers 45 m2 and has been completely renovated. It's an old house, so it's a bit noisy. It consists of a double bedroom with electrically adjustable bed and a flat-screen TV. There is also a living room with a pleasant seating area and a dining table. There is a cozy bedstee (2 pers. Bed) in the living room. The designer bathroom has an XXL bath and walk-in shower. There is a separate toilet. The apartment has a private (emergency) exit through the back. It has a Nespresso machine and a water heater, a fridge and all the necessities to be able to make breakfast. There is a sink to do the dishes. A hot meal cannot be prepared, and I am allowed to host a maximum of 4 people. This is because of my permit.   The house is located on the monumental Nieuwendammerdijk, one of the top locations in Amsterdam. In the beautiful Vliegenbos, at 5-min. walking distance, is a tennis club. Along the way, you will pass Het Sluisje, a well-known pub with a beautiful terrace where you can also eat.   From the house, you can reach the ferry by bike in 12 min., and the ferry can take you in 3 min. to Centraal Station. This means you are within walking distance of all the major attractions Amsterdam city center has to offer. Of course, you can also take the bus to the metro, with departures every 10 min. and a stop around the corner. It takes you to the metro in 5 min., and the metro takes you anywhere in the city within 15 minutes, after all, Amsterdam is a small city, and everything is close by. For those who prefer peace and space, the Nieuwendammerdijk is the ideal base for exploring the rustic Noord-Holland Waterland. Tourist attractions such as Durgerdam, Volendam  and Marken are within cycling distance. Best of both worlds, the city center is close by and the flat land as well.   The owner lives in the upper house along with his 19-year-old son and their cat. It is paid parking, the cost is €9.90 per day. Or €1.60 per hour   Finally, guests arriving at Schiphol can be picked up, ask for information about this. Guest access you wil have all of the space to you and the rest of the guests. Only sometimes I need to use the washer.
