Welcome to our quaint thatched roof house in the middle of fields and yet only 20 minutes from Hamburg's city limits. Popular with families: 3.5 bedrooms with a total of 7 beds sleeping on 4 beds. The space Our very cozy thatched roof house with high recreational value in the middle of nature is secluded and yet only 20 minutes by car from the city limits of Hamburg. Scene districts such as Eimsbüttel and Ottensen can be reached in 30 minutes, the Binnen-Alster and the Hafencity in 40 minutes by car. The Elbe with its endless cycle paths is 10 minutes, the North Sea at Büsum can be reached in about 1 hour, about a quarter of an hour longer you need to the "largest sandbox in the world", St.Peter-Ording. In the morning, our guests are woken up by the neighboring cows or rooster, sometimes a pheasant or deer dares to go to the extensive property. The house stands on an almost 1 hectare plot in the middle of wide meadows. In the spring, the ducks are on our pond. The approx. 100 sqm apartment "Sommerhaus" is located in the partly listed eastern part of our house. Here are the original living spaces of the former farm. In the impressively high entrance area, the more than 300-year-old beams are still visible. We recently completely modernized the apartment and now offers five rooms with a total of eight beds. We provide one-of-a-kind beds and towels for your stay. In harmony with nature: We love our beautiful garden and the diverse flower splendor he gives us throughout the year. Our own apples, raspberries or rhubarb and mirabelles are our pride (it is welcome to be enjoyed!), but we also let the garden be nature and offer insects and other animals a habitat. In the outdoor area shared with the other two apartments, there is a treehouse for children with a slide and fire bar, cable car, trampoline and swing (use of all playground equipment at your own risk!). The property is almost 1ha and there is even a small forest. Other things to note And another note: You will sleep in an 18th century house. It will never be clinically clean and in the partly wild garden, like everywhere in nature, insects that can get lost in the house. Of course, we do our best to make sure you don't notice these things.
