A beautiful two-story Regency period country house near Cornwall's best beaches which sleeps 16 (12 adults plus 4 bunk beds)located in 22 acres of spectacular grounds with ornamental lake, tennis court and Victorian walled garden producing fruit and vegetables for the house. Parties and Events are not allowed. The space The house has style, comfort and is elegantly furnished to the highest standard sitting in 22 acres of beautiful gardens. The Ground Floor Downstairs, the kitchen/breakfast room is a perfect place to create wonderful dishes with a beautiful stone slate floor with seating for 10. This traditional kitchen which has recently been refurbished has all the modern facilities you would expect, including an integrated dish washer, fridge, large island and a dual fuel range cooker. Off the kitchen is a larder with a walk-in fridge and small freezer, and a utility room with a washing machine and tumble dyer. There is also an elegantly decorated dining room. The drawing room is a perfect setting for evening drinks, or afternoon tea with stunning garden and lake views. The terrace is a great place for lunch or to enjoy drinks on a beautiful sunny day and has a round table with seating for 10 people and a gas barbecue. The Library with beautiful original bookshelves is a great place to retire to quietly read a book in front of the fire or watch TV. Furniture throughout the house is mostly antique and floors for the most part sanded wood with rugs scattered throughout. The Hall is full height with a fine oak staircase illuminated by a glass dome. There are also two downstairs cloak rooms. Upstairs Bedrooms There are eight beautifully decorated bedrooms including two master with huge four poster beds, two doubles, two twins and two bunk rooms. Four of the rooms have en-suite bathrooms, another double has an adjoining bunk room as well as bathroom, and there are two twin rooms one en suite, one shares the family bathroom. Bathrooms All the bathrooms at Tresillian have great character and stunning views over the gardens and lake. All en suite bathrooms have both bath and shower facilities fitted out with high quality sanitary ware and heated towel rails/and or radiators. The family bathroom has a free-standing cast iron bath.
