La Dimora di San Maurizio Without doubt our most ambitious and spectacular launch to date… Drawing inspiration from 20 years of offering exceptional Venice rentals and hosting friends old and new from all four corners of the globe, it’s with heartfelt thanks to all the ‘pros’ making this latest mission possible that we roll out the red carpet for - The space La Dimora di San Maurizio Curated to captivate - and with stellar service for peace of mind… An entire 5-STOREY VOV-OWNED PALACE cradling 4 newborn apartments in one of the most prestigious locations in the San Marco sestiere Restored by maestros in the art of reawakening tired spaces with the sympathy and respect such venerable buildings deserve, these lavishly appointed apartments boast fully bespoke interiors in a signature style much-admired for its vitality and verve Poised prettily in pink opposite the Museum of Music in sunny Campo San Maurizio, between the cafés of Santo Stefano and the luxury boutiques nuzzling St. Mark’s Square, La Dimora’s apartments are of differing sizes and sleep 30 guests in total when reserved for exclusive use Within a waltz of the world-famous La Fenice Opera House and the Gritti Palace’s Riva Lounge for glamorous Grand Canal-side drinks, all 4 air-conditioned apartments are accessible by lift and include - La Dimora di San Maurizio 3 (sleeps 4+2) Presenting ‘Sublime Elegance in Sunset Colours’ A 2 bedroom (2 doubles & 1 double sofa bed) / 2 bathroom + 1 guest bathroom apartment Boasting high-spec fittings and accoutrements and an ambience we know you’ll love… Situated on the 3rd floor reached by lift and with a total of 6 tall arched windows to the fore overlooking the Campo towards the tipsily tilting bell tower of Santo Stefano – an exquisite apartment enrobed in sun-kissed Venetian spritz russets offset with pumice stone greys and comprising: • A stylishly appointed sitting room with wooden beams overhead, wooden flooring topped with Kilim underfoot and luxuriously upholstered chairs and double sofa bed for lazy lounging with a view • A fully fitted kitchen/dining room (also to the front of the apartment) with integrated appliances, a dining suite for 6 plus bar stool seating for 2 for keeping your nominated cook company at the stove • The apartment’s delightful master bedroom – facing the Campo and home to a splendidly dressed double bed*, Oriental-style lanterns to either side, a built-in custom-made wardrobe, plus its own sparkling bathroom with twin wash hand basins and large shower • A second double bedroom to the rear of the palazzo featuring another gorgeous double bed* (and again decked out in fine linens including cushions in Genevieve Gorder’s Art Deco style ‘Flock Onyx’ fabric), a separate walk-in dressing room to the side, plus a pristine en suite bathroom with a roll-top bathtub and separate shower which in turn leads to a dainty south-facing balcony overlooking the rear of the palazzo - perfect for a cosy tête-à-tête and a pre-dinner spritz for 2! In general, heating is available from mid-October to mid-April, while air-conditioning is available from mid-April to mid-October. Please contact us for further information. Other things to note ALL VIEWS ON VENICE RATES, IRRESPECTIVE OF LENGTH OF STAY, ARE FULLY INCLUSIVE OF ALL UTILITIES* - gas, electricity, bed linen, towels, final cleaning, welcome on arrival and check-in up until 8 p.m.** are all included, as are air-conditioning and internet access if available at your chosen apartment. And while the Venice Tourist Tax €4,00 per person per night*** is an extra, there are NO HIDDEN CHARGES. Rentals of over 7 nights also include a weekly bed linen and towel change during your stay. * Telephone charges, where applicable, are extra. ** Our check- in time is from 15:00 up to 20 :00 ( arrivals before 15:00 can be organized upon request). Arrivals between 20.00 and midnight incur an arrival fee of €50, payable in cash upon arrival. We do organize check- in between midnight and 1:00 a.m. with a surcharge of € 100 to be paid in cash upon arrival. Check- in after 1:00 a.m. CAN ONLY BE ORGANIZED UPON REQUEST. These charges are due to the fact that Vov employs extra staff for these occurrences. *** Introduced by the City of Venice Council on stays at hotels, b&b, campsites, apartment rentals etc., this per night/per person tax is levied on the first 5 consecutive nights of a client’s stay in Venice and is payable to your Views on Venice representative in cash (euros) upon arrival at the apartment.
