Linger Longer Vineyard: Ochre Cottage

Set in a tranquil vineyard, overlooked by the beautiful Willunga Ranges, Linger Longer Vineyard's 'Ochre Cottage' is a self-contained wing of a private homestead with its own entrances, patio and small garden. It is centrally situated between McLaren Vale, Willunga and Aldinga, just minutes drive to the superb beaches of the Fleurieu Peninsula, and only a 45 minutes drive to Adelaide, even closer to Victor Harbor, and a perfect stop en route to or from Kangaroo Island. The space Ochre Cottage offers a lounge/dining room with views of the hills and vineyard on three sides, with sliding glass doors opening on to a patio and garden. Furniture includes a comfortable 3-seater sofa bed with chaise, arm chair, TV, DVD and record player. There is a cozy log fire in the lounge for the winter months (June to August). First night’s wood is complementary and for additional nights we ask kindly for a small fee of $25 per night to cover the cost of timber. A selection of books is available and you can relax on the patio, listen to the birds and watch the sunset. Reverse cycle air conditioning ensures comfort in all seasons. Free Wifi. The property is central to the many wineries, restaurants, beaches and other delightful experiences the region has to offer. The queen size bedroom features a comfortable bed and quality linen. The ensuite bathroom is bright and welcoming with quality towels, twin shower, hair drier, shampoos and soaps. It's a pleasure to cook in the pristine kitchen and you can eat at whatever time you want. You are welcome to pick our spray-free fruit when in season. Under-cover parking is available, and for those with caravans or trailers there is ample additional on site parking. A fully equipped laundry is available.
