This organic house is the larger of the two neighbouring holiday homes (both can be booked together for up to 7 people, see also ‘Lichtberg 2’). It is located in a completely rural idyll and yet very close to the city (10 minutes to the university, city centre, main station and motorway). It has been optimally renovated with high-quality materials and is a beautiful home for 5 people plus 1 small child who want to enjoy the high altitude above the Moselle valley. E-charging station at home. The space This vacation home ‘Lichtberg 1’ has been rated by the German Tourism Association according to the DTV classification and awarded 4 stars (for 2 persons), which means that it is a very high quality furnished house. Own car park, own entrance and own furnished terrace; the large meadow may be used by all. Children and a dog are welcome. A baby cot (40 x 90 cm, organic solid wood and organic mattress, covered with bed linen, for babies up to approx. 1 year) is located directly next to the double bed under the roof on the sleeping gallery; in the living room 2 people can sleep on the pull-out organic sofa bed and 1 person on the organic single bed. Highchairs - also with baby insert - are available, as well as toys. The holiday home is equipped with all the comforts you need to arrive immediately, feel at home and relax. The great healing water from the tap, the peace and quiet and the fresh air are good for your health; you'll notice it very quickly. And if you still have time to enjoy the unspoilt nature right next door - there are countless trails for hiking or mountain biking - you have booked an all-round package for relaxation of body, mind and soul with this holiday home. Trier, Germany's oldest city, is just 10 minutes away by car. Good restaurants and shops for daily needs are also within walking distance, less than 10 minutes by car. The e-charging station (self-generated solar power) may be used for a fee to refuel the e-car. Guest access Own car parking space (courtyard) in front of the house. The key for your own front door is available in the key box. Own terrace with electric barbecue and furniture behind the house. Hiking trails start immediately after the host's large garden plot (meadow). Built-in professional safe, can also be used for files and laptop (key available for a deposit of €100 at check-in) and stereo system. There is a new cooker with oven and extractor bonnet for cooking, a dishwasher for washing up, and the spacious fridge also has an ice compartment. The basic equipment such as oil, vinegar, salt and pepper, sugar, stock, coffee, herbal tea, coffee and tea filters, toaster ... is always available. In the daylight bathroom there is a washing machine and a tumble dryer; 2 different washing powders are available; please put €3 in the piggy bank for each washing or tumble drying cycle. In this spacious bathroom, which is only equipped with high-quality materials, there is a lady shower next to the toilet. The rather large shower is accessible at ground level, the bathtub is lowered and there is plenty of space for many utensils in the mirror cabinet. A towel radiator hangs above the bathtub, which conveniently complements the underfloor heating; the room fan ensures pleasant ventilation at all times; three different towels per person are provided, as well as a hairdryer, hot water bottle, toilet paper ... - a modern feel-good bathroom for several guests! There is an e-charging station on the side of the house where guests can charge their e-car with self-generated solar power for a fee. Other things to note I like to greet and support my guests, but I keep a discreet distance unless I am approached. If you have any questions, just come and see me; I'm your neighbour! About 150 metres behind the ‘Lichtberg’ estate, behind the trees, runs an armoured road of the German army. About once a week, engineers drive one or more tanks along it to check their suitability; they never shoot. This noise lasts about 10 minutes, very rarely 20 minutes, and then disturbs the silence, never in the evening or at night, never at weekends. The accommodation tax (3.5 % of the rent per person and night) is included in the price and is paid by me to the city of Trier.
