The Studio at Heath House, Bridgnorth

The Studio at Heath House is a light, airy and welcoming home from home. It is ideal for couples and solo adventurers. It is in a separate building from the main house and guests are assured privacy and quiet. We welcome pets too. The Studio provides the perfect base to explore the Shropshire Hills (AONB); and the historic towns of Bridgnorth (4 miles away), Much Wenlock, Ludlow and Shrewsbury. Ditton Priors is our local village and has a shop, post, office, pub, doctor’s surgery and garage. The space The Studio is a large and airy space which overlooks a small orchard where our chickens wander and our vegetable garden. Our horses graze outside and are always happy to come over and say hello. Beyond their field you have far reaching views across farmland and trees. We welcome well-behaved, housetrained dogs. You are welcome to use the training barn to train or to play with your dog (when it is not being used by Valerie for her clients). In the summer you can use the outdoor dog-training area when it is not in use so your dog can have fun off his or her lead. The Studio has a well stocked kitchen area, a large dining area which can seat four people and a sitting area with sofa and arm chair. The sleeping area is curtained off from the rest of the area and guests can enjoy star gazing as they lie in the comfortable king-size bed. We can also provide a single bed if required.The bathroom is a separate room, which shower basin and toilet. We provide soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner. Guests are welcome to enjoy our gardens and we provide outdoor furniture and barbecue for your use. The Studio is located 4 miles outside the lovely market town of Bridgnorth and is the perfect place to be your home from home while you explore the beautiful and historic county of Shropshire. Walk in the Shropshire Hills - an area of outstanding natural beauty; visit the amazing IronBridge built by Thomas Telford; have a ride on the famous Severn Valley Steam Railway and go on Safari in the Severn Valley Safari Park. Please note, there is no public transport available near the property. Guest access Guests are welcome to use the garden surrounding the property and we provide loungers and an umbrella in the little orchard for your relaxation. In the summer, we have a BBQ which you are welcome to use. We have horses, chickens and cats who are all very friendly and always ready for a stroke or carrot. Other things to note We are in a rural location and as a a result WiFi is not the fastest. There are steps up to the Studio. The Studio is well away from the main house so your privacy is assured. The Studio is cleaned with disinfectant between every visit to ensure it is safe for people to stay. We have no charging facility for electric cars. The nearest point is at Aldi in Bridgnorth. Please note there is no public transport nearby - and the nearest shop is 2 miles away.
