Beautifully modernised chalet on the front-line of Dunster Beach, It is a magical holiday stay for couples, and families. The chalet sleeps 4 people, one or two on a double sofa bed, two singles beds, and two on a cosy mezzanine level, accessed by a sturdy wooden ladder. This mezzanine is suitable for adults and older children. The rear of the chalet has a gated patio with spectacular views of the beach and Blue Anchor Bay. The space Please note that this is a beach chalet, therefore space is limited and although can sleep up to 6 people space will be at a premium. Guest access The interior of the chalet is stylishly wood panelled. The wood is bleached using a carefully sourced Scandinavian lye/wood soap preparation which ensures the wood will not darken or fade with age. This finish gives the chalet a very clean and fresh Scandi look. The back patio is furnished with a sturdy wooden picnic table and is a joy for family breakfasts with abundant sunshine until well beyond lunchtime, not to mention beautiful views and rumbly high tides!! The front also has a patio with a wooden table and benches, and is a wonderfully sheltered micro-climate to sit outside, even out of season!There is an L-shaped sofa bed at the front with integrated bedding storage under the seat. This area is flooded with sunshine in the afternoon. The chalet has a TV mounted on the wall (with an integrated DVD player) which can be positioned wherever you happen to be seated! All windows (including the mezzanine level) have had custom-made John Lewis blackout blinds fitted to ensure deep sleep and restful lie-ins! There are plenty of electrical sockets, and lighting is either halogen or discrete flat mounted warm white CFL.There is a bathroom with an electric shower and toilet, a well equipped kitchen and a dining area by the French windows. These French windows open fully (with no mid strut) onto the back patio, giving a wonderful open plan aspect from the chalet to the beach beyond. The chalet is fully equipped to a high quality, and ready to be moved into! The list below is by no means comprehensive but gives a brief outline of what you can expect… The kitchen is well stocked with plenty of pretty colorful crockery, cutlery and glassware, all manner of kitchen utensils, cafetiere, kettle, toaster, microwave, serving bowls, saucepans, baking tins, scales and of course an oven. There are also oven gloves. The beds are provided with pillows, mattress protectors, duvets, you would need to bring your own bedlinen, bath and beach towels. The beds and mattresses are all very comfortable. For the outside all patio furniture is included for front and back patios, as well as a lovely snowy white sunshade with a sturdy metal base.
