Description

In the heart of the city next to the peaceful Company Gardens, this stylish split-level studio has everything needed for a relaxing stay, be it business or leisure. Enjoy access to two communal rooftop decks and pools (larger pool and deck in sister building not pictured) to catch some rays as well as an on-site gym, or watch the sunset after a day of exploring. This studio is spacious with a small but well-equipped kitchen, dining and lounge area with a bedroom and large bathroom on a raised platform. Satellite TV & fast uncapped fiber internet (10mbps) for work and leisure. Take the elevator to the rooftop deck to unwind with sundowners after the day's exploring or relax by the deck's swimming pool on a hot day The leisure center in the neighbouring building, The Adderley, also has a gym for fitness fans but an al fresco workout in the neighbouring Company Gardens is highly recommended! There is a parking bay inside the building with secure, monitored access from both parking and street levels. Street entrance is on the famous Adderley St and the lobby is manned 24/7 for your easy access and peace of mind. Access to parking, small pool and deck in the apartment building as well as access to a much larger sun deck and gym at sister building, The Adderley, which is approx 20 metres walk from the street level or can be accessed via the parking lot. The Adderley's swimming pool is currently covered due to the drought, but may reopen for season. The aforementioned pool on Bijoux's rooftop remains open. The 3pm check in time is only enforced when we have other guests leaving on the same day that you are arriving. When this is not the case you are welcome to check in earlier. Cape Town tourist info, travel tips and my personal restaurant/entertainment recommendations are provided in the custom travel manual inside the apartment but I am always willing to answer any questions or provide more info to make your stay more comfortable. Convenience at your doorstep. The apartment is surrounded by local culture and has trendy restaurants, shops, museums, and public gardens as well as great transport links all within walking distance. Although there are plenty of attractions and essentials in walking distance I do recommend you explore a little further! The apartment is a quick walk away from Cape Town Station where guests can embark on a rail trip to the Southern Suburbs as far as Simon's Town. There is also a MyCiti bus stop right outside the entrance and you're just a couple of stops away from the main bus terminal, Civic Centre, from which all MyCiti bus routes begin and end including buses to Sea Point, Camps Bay, Hout Bay, The V&A Waterfront, Blouberg, Century City and the Airport. It's a busy street so it's always easy to catch a cab in the daytime if you're not an Uber user but it's not a nightlife street so you won't be kept up late by loud music! For the drivers, it's very close to 2 main highways which will get you anywhere you need to go! There is a secure, dedicated parking bay inside the building, one floor above the apartment. As you may have heard, Cape Town is experiencing our most severe water shortages ever after 2 consecutive years of drought conditions. We could run out of water by April. Stringent water restrictions are in place with a quota of 87 litres per person per day. Please shower rather than bath and keep showers to 2 minutes, turning the water flow off while shampooing or shaving. Please only flush the toilet when necessary. Please be mindful of your water usage. Please note there is currently no washing machine inside the apartment, but there is a coin laundromat in the leisure centre at The Adderley and a full service laundromat next door to the building. Both swimming pools have sun loungers for public use. The 3pm check in time is only enforced when we have other guests leaving on the same day that you are arriving. When this is not the case you are welcome to check in earlier.
