This beautiful property offers the best of both worlds. Only 15 minutes away from Coolangatta and Kirra beaches, it is in the hinterland at Cobaki. It is surrounded by lush green fields and grazing cows, yet is close to restaurants and shopping areas. The views are spectacular. When staying here, you will enjoy the tropical feel of a hot summer's day splashing in the pool or, in the cooler months, weather permitting, the mesmerising warmth of a fire-pit. The space From your bedroom, you will wake up to the stunning view. You will hear the trill of many varieties of birds and you may spot the occasional wallaby. If you’re lucky, you will witness the majestic soaring of our local wedge-tail eagle. The apartment comprises a suite of rooms on the ground floor of the house. We live upstairs, however guests have complete privacy downstairs, entering via the main front door. Guests can also enter the apartment through the pool area. The space you have to yourself is spacious and luxurious. There is a large bedroom with queen bed and double built-in robe. Your private bathroom is opposite. You have your own living room to enjoy, with a modern and very comfortable lounge suite and smart TV with Netflix access, as well as other streaming channels. The kitchenette has a fridge, microwave and portable stove top, in addition to crockery and cutlery. In the fridge are the ingredients for a continental breakfast for two days, if you do not choose to eat out.Tea and coffee making facilities are freely available. Please note this apartment is mostly intended for short stays only and so does not have an oven or a large kitchen area. There is however a Weber type Bar-b-q on the balcony. The living area leads out on to an enormous private verandah, with dining table and occasional chairs and also a pool table, should you wish to challenge your partner to a game! The verandah gives access to the property’s sparkling infinity pool, where you will enjoy sole occupancy. The pool area has several lounge recliners set out for your relaxation. YOUR HOSTS Peter and Adrienne have lived in the property for over five years. Adrienne is a retired teacher and Peter still runs a small roofing business. Guest access Guests have private access to the entire downstairs area-pool, huge verandah, living room, kitchen, bedroom and bathroom. Other things to note Please take note that your Hosts live on the premises upstairs. We won't always be there during the day but mostly at night. We will not disturb your privacy in any way, but because of the design of the house, you may hear us a little upstairs. However, if you close the downstairs doors you will have complete privacy.
