Holiday maisonette "Alte Trotte"

The holiday maisonette "Alte Trotte" was refurnished 2019 in a listed timber-framed house from 1719. On the ground floor, you will find the kitchen, a dining room and a bathroom. On the first floor, there is a cosy living room, and a charming bedroom on the second floor. Suitable for 2 adults or 2 adults with 2 children. The "Alte Trotte" is located between "Seestrasse" and Lake Zurich (guests can use private access to the lake). Close to the railway station. Parking is included. The space At the entrance of the holiday maisonette, you will find a seating area (table and 4 chairs), which means you can eat outside (at ground level, as the kitchen). The seating area might be used by other tenants of the "Trotte" building as well. The kitchen is fully equipped with oven, ceramic cooking surface, coffee machine, kettle, fondue dishes and other kitchenware. Unfortunately, there was no space left for a microwave and a dishwasher - but during holidays, one has time to cook and wash the dishes together ;-) In the bathroom (with shower), you can hang up your laundry if necessary. You may use the private access to the lake, where you can take a bath in the evening. At the lake, there is no sandy beach but "only" a terrace at the boathouse with a permanently installed bathing ladder. The entrance is not suitable for non-swimmers or children and adults who are not swimming safely. For non-swimmers (and others as well), the public bath in Feldbach (called "Badi") is very well suited. And, by the way, very good fish dishes are offered there. There is also a sauna in the winter months and a rowing boat in the summer months. The bedroom on the 2nd floor of the holiday maisonette has a double bed (2 mattresses, 80x190cm each, on slatted frame). Additionally, in a corner under the roof above the double bed, there are 2 other mattresses 80x190cm (without slatted frame). These can be reached via a ladder and are suitable for (not too young) children or teenagers. This makes the holiday maisonette suitable for 2 adults or 2 adults with up to 2 children or teenagers. Bed linen, bathroom and kitchen linen is provided. A car park is available in the courtyard. Guest access The whole annex of the "Alte Trotte" is the holiday maisonette - all 3 floors. The stairs are of a special space-saving design (see photo). If used without haste, they are no problem for children and adults. However, they can be difficult for people with walking disabilities. Other things to note The holiday maisonette "Alte Trotte" is suitable for up to 3 adults or 2 adults with up to 2 children or teenagers. The holiday maisonette is equipped with a complete kitchen. Since 2023, we offer a publicly accessible charging station for electric vehicles at the Oberhaushof. Restaurants: The Badi Feldbach (which also rents out pedalos) with its bistro is a 10-minute walk away and is in a very beautiful location. The address for workers and cyclists: You can find hearty food and a cold beer at Hans-Heiri, the pub in the headquarters of the Zurich brewery Hürlimann. Thai takeaway Thai Thong directly below the roundabout (100 metres from the B&B).
