The Terrace Garden Room in the lap of nature

The Room is on the terrace of the main house in a large 1.5 acre secure compound with only two other homes all belonging to one extended family. The room is accessible through an independent staircase, is tastefully furnished, has an en suite bathroom and an adjoining small terrace garden. It is ideal for long stay guests - with affordable home cooked meal plans, laundry taken care off for a small fee and amidst some of the most beautiful surroundings away from the noise and grime of Delhi. The space A beautiful well appointed room with an en suite bathroom and an adjoining terrace garden. Trees, shrubs and flowers are all around and you have a lovely view from the large bay window. You will be surprised by the quietness and solitude. You are truly in the lap of nature. The room is well appointed with a Daikin, split Air Conditioner, a 43 inch LED TV, a mini refrigerator, a microwave oven for reheating food, a kettle, essential crockery and a flask. The queen size double bed is complemented by two lounge chairs and a round table. A separate folding table is provided that can be used for eating meals or for your laptop. There is ample storage space in the full size cupboard, the console below the TV and the bed side tables. A separate alcove is provided for storing your travel bags. A selection of books is available in the large bookshelf in the vestibule. If you are a book buff a larger selection is available on request from the host's personal library. An electric iron and hair dryer can be supplied on request. During winter months a convector heater is placed in the room. The bed linen is of good quality cotton. A Duvet is provided as standard. Dohars are also placed in summer and an additional quilt in the winter months. The adjoining bathroom has a fitted wash basin, shower and WC. A washing machine is also provided which can be used by you for a small fee. The large UPVC bay Windows are equipped with a re-tractable net so you can have fresh air without the insects. Climb four steps outside your room and you are in your 180 sq ft private terrace garden equipped with lounge chairs, a centre table, a weatherproof charging point and potted seasonal plants. Guest access Guests access the room through an open staircase. A small terrace garden adjoins the room and is equipped with lounge chairs. In winters we can provide you with a barbecue. You can use the walkways of the compound for your morning walks or curl up in the large lawn of the main house. You can opt to have breakfast in your room, the dining room of the main house or in the terrace garden. During your stay The host stays on the ground floor of the property. He can be contacted for providing information and assistance in person or through email and phone. The host's house workers can be contacted through the intercom or bell push. They are available for cleaning, to resolve any issues or replenish supplies. Home cooked meals are available on request. Other things to note The property is accessible through app based Taxi Services like UBER or OLA. Alternatively, long stay guests usually hire a two wheeler for the duration of the stay. The nearest public transport is a kilometer away.
