Haus Afalda

In Mengen, between Sigmaringen and Bad Saulgau, only a few steps away from the famous Danube Cycle Path, the vacation apartment "Haus Afaldra" is located in the middle of nature and yet close to numerous excursion destinations and facilities for daily needs. The entrance of the vacation apartment is located in the basement and can be reached via 3 small stairs. Other things to note The apartment consists of a living room, a very well equipped kitchen with microwave and dishwasher and an extendable dining table, a bedroom with two single beds that can be pulled apart or pushed together, a bathroom and can accommodate 3 people. In addition, the accommodation has an infarotheater, which creates a cozy atmosphere. The equipment also includes WLAN, SAT TV and a washer-dryer. An iron and ironing board are available on request, as well as board games and a play box for children. The apple theme runs through the entire apartment, which is why it is also called "Afaldra", because it means "apple" in medieval German. From the apartment you can enjoy a very nice view into the garden and the pure nature. You may even see a deer passing by. Spend wonderful hours in the 300 m² garden and with an 2,000 m² adjacent orchard and let your soul dangle. You will also find a fireplace or you can camp there. Ask your host for a bicycle rental, should you spontaneously want to explore the area by bike. A wide selection of restaurants, cafes and bars can be reached after a 5-minute drive (2 km) in the center of Mengen. A bakery is located in the immediate vicinity and can be reached in just 12 minutes on foot (1 km). A cheese store awaits you after another 3-minute walk. Several supermarkets can be found after a 6-minute drive. Excursion destinations in the area include the Zielfingen Lakes (5 km), the Heuneburg Celtic Museum in Herbertingen (10 km), the Sonnenhof Thermal Baths in Bad Saulgau (18 km) and the Linzgau Lake Park in Pfullendorf (19 km). To Lake Constance and its wide range of leisure activities, including the flower island of Mainau and the historic castle in Meersburg, you need only 40 minutes by car. Parking spaces are available on the property. Bed linen and towels are included in the price.
