Available all year round, heated beach house! Keep it simple at this peaceful and centrally-located home. Access to small private beach. Large fenced in backyard. Enjoy the large wraparound deck and views of Long Island sound and wetlands and a nature preserve behind the house. People ask why the area is “Money Point.” According to local historians, our small beach area is rumored to be a depository for Captain Kidd’s gold! Academic rentals available. Short ride to the Waters Edge resort. The space Welcome to our family’s beach house! This home has been in our family for over 40 years and has been filled with many great memories. We are excited to share it with you and welcome you to make your own memories here as well. Most of the living space in this home is upstairs. The entire upstairs has been renovated and updated to 2024 standards. We have a new air conditioner, new Sealy mattresses and all bedrooms, and the floors have recently been refinished. There are two bedrooms upstairs and one bedroom downstairs. All bedrooms have brand new ceiling fans and have queen size beds. There is a office/work area downstairs which opens up to the backyard. There is a full bathroom with shower on the first floor as well. The backyard has no backyard neighbors instead it is a nature conservancy. There are many birds and our guests love listening to them. There is a large wraparound deck on the house. We have a grill for your use. There is also a picnic table on the deck. There is one TV in the main living area and smart TVs in all bedrooms. The Wi-Fi is strong and we’ve had no complaints at all. We have a fully fenced in backyard, perfect for dogs. We worked hard to make this house a wonderful retreat. We hope you enjoy your stay, and that you enjoy the quiet Pointina beach community which is so close to everything that the Connecticut shoreline has to offer. Guest access The garage/basement/attic is used for storage- do not access. No laundry in the house. Fireplace is not for guest use. Other things to note Living space is mostly upstairs. If you are not comfortable climbing stairs, please do not book.
