Two comfortable bedrooms with quality linen & built in robes. Access through the living room to a full sized, well equipped kitchen with steps down to the dining area and sunny rear courtyard. NB bathroom has two steps up to the large shower. Outside dining area is under cover in a sheltered courtyard with a full sized BBQ. This is a 100yr old house that's well appointed, with all the comfort and character that most hotels do not provide. BEDROOMS: Queen size bed in bedroom 1 and double bed in bedroom 2; both rooms are spacious with quality bedding and extra blankets. This house is suitable for 2 couples (4 people) or 2 singles. Please ensure you book for the correct amount of guests. Both bedrooms have ceiling fans plus air con. BATHROOM: A large shower and vanity with stone bench top and large mirror. Hairdryer, clean towels, bath robes & basic toiletries included. Note: two steps up to the shower. LIVING AREA: Large sofa with new 50" LED TV. DINING AREA: Dining area is adjacent to the kitchen (two steps down). There's also casual eating for 4 at the kitchen counter. KITCHEN: Large, well equipped kitchen with stone bench tops. Has large fridge/freezer, dishwasher, microwave, induction cooktop and oven. Equipped with kettle, pod coffee machine, toaster, rice cooker & some basic pantry essentials. LAUNDRY FACILITIES: Equipped with washing machine and dryer, iron and ironing board and washing detergent. Outside line available for drying. OUTDOOR AREAS: Has sheltered and private rear courtyard with outside dining area under cover, readily accessible from the kitchen. Front porch has seating for 2. There's a little park across the road or it's a short walk to gorgeous Hyde Park. INTERNET: Unlimited wireless internet. LOCATION: Located in a quiet neighbourhood while still being walking distance to Northbridge, the city and restaurants. There are theatres, museums, galleries, restaurants and bars all just a short walk away. Being familiar with Perth's attractions, I am happy to assist you with information on sight seeing & getting around etc. Brochures of bus/train, places to see and tourist information are provided for your convenience. PLACES TO VISIT: in Perth include:- - Kings Park overlooking Perth's Swan River - magic for a picnic, walking, cafes & restaurant. - Swan Valley - take a boat cruise or drive and visit the Swan Valley wine region, restaurants & breweries. - Caversham wildlife park - meet the koalas, visit the kangaroos, wombats etc. - Hillary's Boat Harbor - visit Aqua (see our coastal marine life up close). - Fremantle, see the markets, great restaurants, boat harbour, take a whale cruise . - Perth's amazing beaches: Cottesloe Beach, Scarborough Beach. - Rottnest Island - take a boat trip from Fremantle and spend the day bike riding, snorkeling, swimming, see quokkas. Short walk to public transport giving direct access to the CBD or Fremantle. PARKING: There is private parking at the back of the house for 1 small car (access down laneway). Also free street parking which is usually more convenient. (NB must advise car registration). CHECK IN/OUT TIMES: Are flexible. Depends on other guests so please ask in advance. I will do my best to fit in with your arrival/departure times. PERTH AIRPORT: - T1, T2: approx 25-30 min car/taxi - T3, T4: approx 20-25 min car/taxi Guest access Whole house including front & rear courtyards. You also have a private place to park your car (the rear courtyard is suitable for small cars only) so it's much easier to park on the street. Other things to note All hosts cleaning are now required to agree to the COVID-19 safety practices new Airbnb rules which means wearing a mask, practicing social distancing, and following Airbnb’s 5-step enhanced cleaning process. As we now have to follow there cleaning protocol we will have to increase our cleaning fee to $50.
