HOUGHTON Upmarket * close to ROSEBANK

Our self-contained, bright, and airy cottage is centrally situated, in the heart of one of Johannesburg's most beautiful upmarket suburbs. It has the feel of being out in the country yet close to cosmopolitan Rosebank with multiple restaurants, stores, and entertainment. The Houghton Golf course is within walking distance as is The Wilds, an inner city park and nature reserve. The space The cottage is set on a Houghton estate with beautiful old Jacaranda trees and a prize winning garden. The self contained, stand alone cottage is perched among the fruit trees and has it's own little patio to watch the African sun set. The kitchen and breakfast nook is fully equipped with a fridge, microwave, gas stove, kettle, toaster and for the coffee addict there is a bean to cup coffee machine. Breakfast provisions can be arranged at guests request. The bedroom has a sliding door which opens onto a little patio. It has a queen size bed with cotton percale white linen and a down duvet. Ample cupboard space. There is a separate bathroom with a shower, basin and toilet [no bath]. Laundry can be arranged at reasonable rates. We have secure parking on the property. Should you wish to take a dip in the swimming pool, towels are available. Guest access The cottage is private and not connected to the main house. Our garden, which has been a twenty five year labour of love, is wonderful to explore. So we welcome you to take off your shoes and enjoy. As the property extends all the way up the mountain ridge, you want to be home at around 6pm with your bottle of wine, to enjoy our incredible sun sets. A selection of wonderful South African wine's are available from our cellar on request. Other things to note The cottage is restricted for accommodation and not entertainment of additional guests. Please note that there is no smoking in the cottage. For late check in after 10pm there will be an additional charge of R200. Our staff have all been with us for over 25 years and we have found them to be extremely trust worthy, however please note that should you have any valuables to keep them locked away as we can not be held responsible should anything go missing.
