The River Cottage is located right in the heart of Machias with breathtaking views of the Machias River. We offer a fully equipped kitchen, living room with a large flat screen tv with your favorite shows through the Roku, an entertainment center and a baby grand piano. There are many books for you to enjoy, as well. The main bedroom is on the first floor with a queen bed and spacious closet. You will find two twin beds in the upstairs loft are. The space This location is my apartment, when I’m away I store some of my belongings upstairs along the far walls, but there is still plenty of open space! The Cottage also shares a parking lot with a local takeaway restaurant. It can be noisy until they close at 7 pm. Please keep this in mind when booking! (This is a seasonal takeaway restaurant, only open during the summer months.) Please make yourself at home at the River Cottage, we can’t wait to host you! Guest access Indoor and outdoor space. No restrictions. Other things to note The trash goes in the dumpster on the motel side of the building closest to the main road.
