Description

Welcome to amazing Panorama X Lofoten. The house has a unique location on a hill with unobstructed views of the Lofoten mountains and the fishing village Sørvågen. Former studio/gallery for artist Else Maj Johansson. The house is located between Reine and Å, and is perfectly located for those who want to experience peace and quiet, be close to Norwegian nature - but at the same time be close to everything you need. From the house you can walk to restaurants, bars, grocery stores and hikes. Car rental on request. The space From the house you can walk to restaurants and bars such as Maren Anna, Havet and Holmen, as well as grocery stores such as Joker, Matkroken and the interior store Butikken på kaia. It is also walking distance to hiking trails such as Tindstind, Munkebu, Sørvågvannet, Munkan and Hermannsdalstind. You can also join a fishing trip, rib trip, rent a SUP, kayak to mention a few. There are also several restaurants in the area such as Anitas Sjømat, Gadus, Underhuset, Gammelbua and Tapperiet (bistro and pub). Sauna and jacuzzi are also nearby, both in Reine and Hamnøy. Unique Norwegian nature: from the large windows in the living room you can see the fishing boats deliver their catch, the sea eagle that hunts the seagulls and if you are lucky you can also see killer whales. In the evening you can see the northern lights dancing in the sky from the living room window. Reinebringen is not a winter trip) Ferry Bodø, Røst, Værøy: 3 min. Grocery stores - walking distance // 2 min drive Restaurants – walking distance // 2 minutes drive Ryten and Kvalvika beach parking: 30 minutes Bakery at Å: 5 min Sakrisøy and Anitas Seafood: 10 min Boat to Bunes Beach parking: 5 min Rambergstranda: 30 minutes Other things to note The road up to the house can, for some, be perceived as narrow - if you feel uncomfortable driving up, you can park down by the white garage. There may be demanding conditions up the road to the house in winter. There may also be problems with getting the road cleared in case of heavy snowfall. In the worst case, you have to park down (about 30 meters from the house), or in the large parking lot at the school. A 4x4 is necessary, this is recommended regardless in the winter in Lofoten. In case of snowfall, snow can also quickly settle in front of the door, there is a shovel right next to the door if needed to clear it away. The weather in winter can be challenging in Norway and Lofoten, and sometimes you can experience a real northern Norwegian winter storm. It happens that the power is off at times in the village - extra lights, batteries and candles are therefore available in the house. Also extra blankets if the power is gone for several hours. IMPORTANT! It is not recommended to walk Reinebringen in the winter. If the check-out procedures are not followed, or if the place is not left in the condition the guest arrived in - an extra fee will be charged.
