The space LAYOUT AND BEDDING 2 bedrooms and 2 beds: Master bedroom with king bed Second bedroom with queen bed Master bedroom opens up onto the back deck, watch the outdoors and star lit skies from your bed! Downstairs features a spacious kitchen with all appliances you need for a comfortable stay, including a breakfast/dining table or alfresco dining on the deck. The open plan master bedroom is to the left and a second bedroom to the right. A bathroom is situated between the rooms in the hallway, towards the outside deck. A second sneaky toilet is located in the laundry room off the outdoor back deck. The back deck consists of two levels. First level is for seating or dining and the second lower deck for a lounge area with optional hammock hooks and hammock available. Stepping down again, the deck opens up to a large green sloping lawn. The garden is fully fenced. Upstairs features a very comfy lounge/TV room with 55 inch smart tv and has a separate verandah with magnificent ocean views. You can watch the whales pass by from May to November during their yearly migration. WALK TO BEACH, CAFE'S AND SHOPS The cottage is located on the beach side of Ocean Drive, the main coastal route from Lake Cathie to Port Macquarie. The beach is a few minutes walk via a short cut route, Middle Rock Surf break is 800 metres away. Once you are in the house and on the back deck you find yourself in a relaxing setting and hardly recall you are in the heart of Lake Cathie with cafe's, restaurants, tavern, and shopping centre just 500 metres down the road. Lake Cathie is a small coastal town and has no traffic lights, just a few main streets, traffic in this small coastal town dies down after 6.30pm. PET FRIENDLY ON REQUEST We love dogs. As a courtesy to the property owner kindly inform us about the type of breed. We also use this information for our statistics and to plan in the cleaning. Please keep dogs off the lounge and beds. Dog bowls provided, please bring your own dog bed. Once the free cancellation period has elapsed we will apply more flexible rules if your cancellation is related government enforced COVID lockdowns and travel restrictions: 1. Change your booking free of charge to a future date. This is the preferred option. If the new dates are more expensive, you pay the difference between old and new rates OR 2. Cancel your booking whereby we apply more lenient cancellation rules. We generally charge 25% (instead of the typical 50%-100% loss of monies within 30-7 days prior to arrival) with a minimum of $200 to cover our costs plus any commissions that Airbnb still charges us.
