The Steading at Legerwood (9 bedroom farm stay)

The Steading is a 9 bedroom property at Legerwood Scotland in the Scottish Borders. It boasts 7 super-king, en-suite bedrooms (which can also be twins), 1 king, en-suite bedroom and a Master Suite. There’s a large open plan kitchen/dining/living area with unspoilt farm views & a raised decking out into the orchard garden. There is a second living room with wood burning stove, a games room with snooker table, boot room, heated dog kennels, as well as a large enclosed courtyard with ample parking The space *Please enquire about prices as we maybe able to offer you a special price for your chosen dates* The Steading is a large property renovated from the old farm mixing and mill houses which date back to the 1800s. It has full access to the private courtyard and entrance into the property. The ground floor has the boot room, games room, bathroom, drying room and utility cupboard. Stairs then go up to the open plan kitchen/living/dining area, with one bedroom corridor on the same level (which has 5 bedrooms along it). Large doors off the open plan area go onto the raised decking into the garden, with 3 steps down onto the grass. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, with a large double oven Rangemaster with induction hob, large fridge with freezer drawers below, dishwasher and wine fridge. Down a few steps from the kitchen area is the second living room. This has a wood burning stove, ample seating, a second smaller dining table and stairs which lead up to the second bedroom corridor. This corridor has the remaining 3 bedrooms and the Master Suite. 5 of the bedrooms comfortably fit a travel cot in them and we also have 2 child futons upon request for an additional fee. Towels, bed linen, hand wash and shower gel are all provided. 7 bedrooms can have either super-king or twin beds. 1 bedroom has a king-sized bed which does not split. All bedrooms are en-suite with a mix of walk in showers and showers over baths. The Master Suite has a superking bed and the en suite has a free standing bath with farm views as well as a walk in shower. **We also have a 2 bedroom cottage (sleeps 4) that can be taken in addition to The Steading. Find it on Airbnb as Mrs Moll's Cottage** As we are a rural area, depending on your network, mobile signal may not be available in all areas of The Steading, so it is the ideal place for a complete getaway. We do have fibre broadband installed so if you would like to keep in touch with the outside world, then Wifi is available throughout the entire property. There are 2 smart TVs in The Steading living areas. Guest access Guests have access from the raised decking into the enclosed orchard garden, as well as use of the dog kennels, large outside store room and the private, enclosed courtyard. Upon request, there are also stables available should guests wish to bring their horses. Legerwood is a working farm and so there are plenty of routes for walking/biking/horse riding and maps with routes can be found in the property and on our website. We welcome and encourage our guests to enjoy our farm but we politely request that routes must be adhered to due to the time of year and whereabouts of livestock. Dogs must also be kept under control on leads and young children supervised at all times.
